draught at borefts 2011. Sweet, but it fits. normally with sweet strong beers there is a high chance of an overpowering alcohol taste. Not with this one. All the different kind of malts blend perfectly into a fruity, sweet syrupy beer.
500 ml bottle. Pours a deep reddish mahogany with moderate foamy head. Aromas of candi sugar, raisins and sweet toasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional with raisin bread and coppery yeast. Holmen2 (4034) - NORWAY - OCT 2, 2017

From Cervezalandia. In Grimbergen glass. Watching House of Cards 1x10-11. Low carbonation and very sweet, with lots of brown sugar and noticeable alcohol burn but not up to the point of being unpleasant Trappist62 (5) - Silkeborg, DENMARK - APR 15, 2017 does not count
0.6 l bottle @ home. Dark brown with big head. Big sweet nose with hints of coffee. Licorise, sweet alcohol and long after taste. A little sticky. Maybe a little too much and too sweet with ordinary food. Requires something special like a chokolate desert. Or just enjoy as an after meal drink. If you want Belgium style - go for the real stuff!! melush (4737) - SPAIN - APR 10, 2017
