COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We thought about this for a long time: what kinda beer would give us the utmost feeling of pride in The Sinner Series? Well, if you know Amager Bryghus you already know that Imperial Stouts have a special place in our hearts. So “Pride” simply had to be an Imperial Stout. What is special about this take on the style is that we boiled the h… out of it. Actually we boiled it for 6 hours, making for a richer and fuller version. We would never dare calling this the perfect Imperial Stout - that would be taking pride way too close to hubris! But we hope you enjoy it nonetheless. We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Brewed from Pale Ale, Wheat, Crystal, Black, Chocolate malts and roasted barley, hopped with Zeus and fermented with an American yeast strain.

Dark and rich in liquirice flavour on the nose and the palate. Layers upon layers of liquirice, espresso, and chocolate. Nice to have such a rich imperial stout that is not as sweet as they often are. Another great beer from Amager!

Weich malziger Antrunk dezente Bitternoten. 9/9/8/10/8/10

Medium konsistens, mildt bitter i ettersmaken.

Bottle 500 ml at home, poured into a snifter glass. ABV 10% Totally black colour on the body with one finger of thick head on it, dark brown in colour, with good retention and medium lacing left on the glass, along with big foam and bubbly islands on the surface. Aroma of milky chocolate, light roasted malts, olive pit, alcohol of the nice enhancing aromas quality and not the boozy one, Taste of roasted malts, sweet with plenty of chocolate and malts, some vanilla on the finish and some alcohol notable here too but very well hidden for the most part. Full body with carbonation on the right levels. Sticky but also hoppy dryness on the palate. Overall another tasty beer on the Sinner Series, very well done.

Black of color with a brown head. An aroma of tar, prunes, weak smoke, roasted malt and burnt wood. A flavor of roasted malt, coffee, weak smoke, dark sugar, tar and coal.

Bottle @tasting. Pours black. Not a big nose some dark chocolate but that was it. Blackberry and blueberry notes to the taste with chocolate and hints of coffee also some liquorice. The only disappointment to this was a lack of a great smell.

Bottle, 50cl - Opaque dark brown beer with a large beige head. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, chocolate, coffee and soy sauce. Flavor is malty with notes of licorice, chocolate, coffee and molasses. Very full bodied beer, a bit too sweet though.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours black with a tan head. Big, rich aromas of dark chocolate and coffee and dark treacle. Taste is quite sweet and boozy. Oily texture.
