English: We thought about this for a long time: what kinda beer would give us the utmost feeling of pride in The Sinner Series? Well, if you know Amager Bryghus you already know that Imperial Stouts have a special place in our hearts. So Pride simply had to be an Imperial Stout. What is special about this take on the style is that we boiled the h out of it. Actually we boiled it for 6 hours, making for a richer and fuller version. We would never dare calling this the perfect Imperial Stout - that would be taking pride way too close to hubris! But we hope you enjoy it nonetheless. Were not proud to be sinners, but at least were open about it

Brewed from Pale Ale, Wheat, Crystal, Black, Chocolate malts and roasted barley, hopped with Zeus and fermented with an American yeast strain.

Marstonlad (849) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 6, 2017
Bottle from a beer shop in Tallinn. Pours murky dark brown with a non-existant head. The aroma in strong: it features roasty maltiness with especially licorice prominent as well as rye pudding. Taste is light sweet initially, later more or less roasty and in the finish quite bitter a long and complex path in this taste. Licorice, rye pudding and espresso are the dominant flavours; also a wooden, peaty touch appears. The palate is full-bodied, fairly flat and smooth. Does not look attractive but taste is as brilliant as expected.

Gluepot (593) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 1, 2016
Pours like motor oil and has a minimalist near black head. The nose is very understated with some coffee, malt and fruit. A complex, well blended taste profile featuring Coffee, a touch of citrus hops and some berries. Molasses, semi sweet chocolate and ripe dark berries add to the blend. A dense, sticky body. A slightly bitter aftertaste. A solid classic.

Eructoblaster (4100) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 26, 2016
Bottle - 500ml. Pours an opaque, black body with a thin, lasting, brown foamy head. Robust malty aroma with whisky, oaky, and some roasty hints. Its complex malty/hoppy taste carries chocolate, plummy, roasty, vanilla, and whisky notes. Alcohol feel is moderate. Ends with a long, warming, bittersweet finish. Awesome 3800th rating!

Lovely looking pour, with a creamy tan head. Rich and creamy stout, with plenty of milk choclate and dark bitter chocolate. Really good.

ALIBALI (1553) - Kiel, GERMANY - AUG 12, 2016
