English: We’re hardworking people here at Amager Bryghus. Only once in a while are we lazy bastards. But it happens. We have to admit that we were lazy when we designed this beer. One malt, one hop – albeit a good one – and then our house yeast. Well, how hard can it possibly be to create a sessionable American Pale Ale? And that’s what we’re offering you here. Sometimes brewing is hard work. Sometimes it’s a work of art. And then sometimes it’s a walk in the park. Take a stroll, sit and relax on a park bench in the sun and be lazy with us. We promise you won’t regret it. We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…
Brewed simply from pilsener malt and Simcoe hops and fermented with an American yeast strain.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2017 Spændende American Pale Ale. Gode smagsnoter. Frisk smag. Drukket på Amager Bryghus

Vestergaard (2089) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - OCT 14, 2015
Tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Aroma is packed with grassy hops, spicy hops, very pale malts, and then a yeast note of something slightly odd.. Maybe some strawberry?. Taste is bitter and fruity, again this berry-like fruityness. Dry and breadish. Very little sweetness. High carb and crisp, slightly oily body. Quite a different APA..

It might be an IPA as well. Perfect look, great aroma and taste. Huge bitterness. Very drinkable in the same time. It really is an awesome beer.

Tap 125 ml. Quite strong for an APA. Hoppiness and bitterness above expectations, some real taste and aroma in there.

liked better than the ipa - a little danker and tasted a little fresher. Drinkable, sweet and fruity, slightly dank.

Bottle thanks to rouhlas! Pours hazy golden orange with a medium white creamy head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is biscuit, pine, hints of dank citrus. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter, bicuity malt, pine. Medium body, quite a bit of lingering bitterness.

On tap at Langebro Ølbar. Hazy yellow with such a huge head that it took the barmaid several minutes to pour properly. The aroma has lots of fresh hops and fruits. The taste is dry and moderate to heavy bitter. Long bitter finish.

Copenhagen 28/7 2015. 50 cl bottle from Gunnar Madsens Vinhandel. A sluggish fellow looking apathetically at you from the label. Pours hazy yellow with big creamy white head. Settles as creamy crown of foam with a lot of lacing. Aroma is strong and prominent. Perfumed sweet and sour fruit. Tropical fruit and lemon. Soft carbonation. Taste is quite bitter with grapefruit and lemon and a strange sourness reminding me of a sweaty armpit on a hot summerday. Bitter dry finish. Fine bitter lazy beer. Nothing can beat a good armpit on a summerday - as long as it's your own.

pour pale with a fine White head, pine and grape aromas, taste light to medium bitter. lively carbonation medium bodied.

At mini-tasting in Belgrade. Thanks Alberto! Pale yellow-gold, thin white head. Strange! very sour lagering-style aroma, really strange and confusing at first. Moves to juice and bittering. A little eggy. Drying finish. Odd one, not my fave.
