COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Saisoner er in. Saisoner er hippe. Simpelthen.

English: Saisons are in. Saisons are hip. It’s as simple as that. So far, no one has come up with a good explanation as to why this very traditional Belgian farmhouse style has suddenly skyrocketed in popularity amongst the in- crowd of the beer geek nation. Except, of course, for the fact it’s simply a very delicate drink in all of its refined simplicity. But we’ve committed a sin. We couldn’t resist. We poured our Amager Saison variety into a barrel. We hope the soft tannins from the wood and the noble Pinot Noir grapes add a juicy extra twist. By doing so, we may bring the wrath of Saison fundamentalists upon ourselves. But frankly, we don’t give a damn!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

50cl. Bottle. Pours hazy dark orange/amber with white head. Aroma funky, cherry, grape, wood, yeast, peach, sweet, fruits. Taste funky fruity bittersweet, little sour. Mouthfeel thin, creamy, aslo dry notes. Amazing beer, very complex aroma for a saison, the taste has so much going on but is still very balanced.

From Cervezalandia. In Teku glass. Playing Gunman Clive. The wood notes are very subtle, hard to find, but the grapes profile is really notorious and pleasant

@Ølfestival København 2013 - pretty clear bronze beer with a little foam left; aroma of hay, apple and hints of brett; decent malt backbone, gently sourish and fairly bitter; very dry and long fruity hoppy finish - fresh and straightforward

W aromacie duuzo cech porzadnego saisona; pieprznosc, przyprawy, masa przypraw.

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Dark amber red with a tanned head!!! (and it’s a saison). Smells of yeast esters, pepper, herbs, some wine elements and hints of banana. A very complex aroma for sure. Taste is light sweet, quite fruity, some hints of red wine and oak, just that little touch of eleganse. Moderate bitter, some fruit bitterness. A very nice saison; not at all a sin in my mouth! Love the touch of wine. I’m really glad they didn’t overdo this.

Okey, You may call me a fundamentalist but I was almost disapointed that this Saison was so well done! The first sign of globalizatiion of Beers was when the Americans made IPA's that was far better Than the Brittish original. Then a Check Pils from Sweden and a Weisbier from New Zealand and a Stout from The Netherlands convinced me that Ohly Belgium is Left with Beers that can not be inproved. But now we have this Saison from Denmark! Very nice but still- I am a bit disapointed !! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
