11.1.2015. On tap at Henriks, Bergen. Dark amber brown volour with white head. Clear. Aromas are strong with lots of both sweet dark caramel malt and grassy fresh hops. Not sure aboit the balance here, there is a lot of aromas mixed together here. Flavours the same. Malt that guves a lot of maltsweetness and that large amount of spruce and grass. Rich with lots of alcohol. Strong beer with lotsof flavours.

On tap at Henrik, Bergen. An unclear, amber colored beer topped by a dense, finger-thick beige head leaving lacing. Sweetish malts, fruityness, a faint roasted touch, hints of caramel and bread, and citrus in the aroma. It’s both sweet and bitter on the palate, sort of balanced, with flavors of citrus fruit with bready, caramel-ish malts in the back. Full body and a nice carbonation, rather soft on the palate. Overall, too much on the sweet side I think. 151005

On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours a clear copper-hued amber body with a small of-white head. Nose is caramel, almonds, honey, red berries and hints of wet grass, soap and nuts. Taste is burnt sugar, red berries, almonds, nuts, caramel and hints of wet grass, herbs, soap and honey. Full body, medium carbonation. Not bad, but very hard to define - is it a double IPA? A hoppy barley wine? American Strong Ale perhaps is the best category here, after all.

Pours copper with a fading head. Nose shows resinous and piny hops with some lychee and mango notes too. Lots of sweet, rich confectionery-like malt behind. Pretty similar falvours, loads of sweet malt, some fruity and spicy hops notes. Pretty sweet.
