Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co, Clekenwell - London. Many thanks to Kenny. Pours unclear pinkish gold with a foamy white cap. The nose holds doughy pale bread, citrus, herbs. Medium sweet flavour with light alcohol bump, lemon rind, bitter grass, more herbal notes. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with notes of crusty bread, grains and citrus fruits. Interesting. OK. Rasmus40 (21696) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 10, 2013

Ok ... hides the ABV well but on the other hand doesn’t deliver a lot on said ABV. saxo (19357) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 10, 2013

Bottle, 75cl. A dense, white head sits on top of a lightly unclear, golden body. The aroma has a strange fruityness, in a quite nice way though. Meaty malts in the back. The flavor is mostly fruity, still with the same strange fruity touch found in the nose, as well as a little maltyness and a bitter touch. Full-bodied and quite dry. Some bitterness in the else fruity finish. Judging from the commercial description this beer definitely don’t comply with the German purity law, but that’s perfectly fine with me. I still don’t know if I think it was a well performed experiment, but it’s definitely far from bad, and the use of ingredients are certainly expected considering it’s an Italian brewery. 130208 Benzai (16569) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 26, 2011
Bottle at Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Italian beer tasting presented by Benito. Smell fresh, light sweetness, light fruity. Taste the same. Almost a little champagne-like. Good carbo and body. Scopey (15478) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2015
Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours murky hazy rose with a decent off-white head. The nose is soft, juicy, floral/hibiscus, light jam, bubblegum, light plastic and Welch’s grape juice. The taste is crisp, bitter, toasty, light spice, hibiscus, sweet, juicy, grape skin and rhubarb. Medium + body and highish carbonation. A touch restrained overall, but enjoyable nonetheless. Hides abv pretty well also. gunnfryd (15175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 7, 2013
