COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

- Light pink foam, creamy, soft, fine and very persistent.
- Beer pink peach - orange, veiled, with pearly reflections.
- Warm and structured body, fine and thin perlage.
- The nose, at slightly higher service temperatures, can feelevery notes: velvety notes of yeast, fresh wild fruit among which the sloe persists, sweet honey.
- The same aromatic bouquet could be felt in the palate.
- A series of flavors and aromas surprise our senses: velvety feeling given by the yeast in suspension, the same that ferment this beer for at least nine months; the freshness and the acidity by the wild fruits harmonized by the sweet coming from the honeys and the malt. Bitterness practically absent, elegant and smooth dry end.
- Good the aftertaste persistence.
- Our celebratory beer, with high alcohol content and made with sought and unusual ingredients. Ingredients among which the Champagne yeast, wildflower honey and acacia’s honey, wild cherry and blackthorn, which are wild fruits that grow spontaneously in the hills between the Marche region and the Adriatic coast. A marriage with the arts: the art of brewing played by Garrett Oliver, who collaborated in the realization of the recipe, and art in its various forms represented by Tonino Guerra (writer, poet, painter, ...), who wanted the wild fruits of his loved land in this beer, adorned by a dreamlike label designed by his own hand.

Mondial de la Bière 2011, Strasbourg - hazy orange coloured with a persistent foam left; nice lace; fruity (litchies and banana) with notes of cream; medium to full-bodied; slightly sweet, some decent bitterness; quite dry; fruity and corny hoppy finish - subtle and pretty complex

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell 10/9/2015. Many thanks to Kenny for this one. Translucent yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting thin white head . Aroma is solvent alcohol, with apple, grape and apricot fruits. Flavour is composed of Belgian yeast, woody, tart apple, apricot and grains. Palate is grainy, spicy and highish carbonation, tangy grape. Not a huge fan of this.

Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Pours clear orange with a small head. Aroma is vinoius, light cherrues, a bit of wet socks, honey, thyme and somewhat dusty. Medium carbonation, fine dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is better than the aroma. Fairly soft caramel malts, clear honey and light vinious. Well balanced with a light fruity tartness and varming alcohol. Quite elegant, really.

75 cl. bottle/[email protected] Moeder Lambic: swing-top, version with a white label and blue peacock, cloudy orange/slight pink hue, taste is lots of slightly sweet wheat, pale malts, slightly tart & boozy fruits (raspberries, oranges, grapes, berries,…), hoppy, esters, spices, hint of venous aftertaste, slight booze aftertaste, hint of Champagne body & carb

Very fine & dense head with a faint pinkish sheen; orange-amberish beer with again a faint rosy/pink haze; textbook lace. Alcoholic, fruity (wild fruit, unripe raspberry, orangezeste), and greenery. Again unripe or wild, tart fruit. Faint artichoke-like flavour with some more pale malts and other grain. In a discreet way, vinous. Quite carbonated MF, some alcohol, but again discreet. Medium bodied at best, seems well-attenuated. Fine, but not really outstanding. Wheat is not obvious. I wonder what the Garrett Oliver connection might be. The Italian is too exotic for me.

25/11/2010 - 75cl bottle @ horeca expo 2010

Cloudy light amber coloured beer, little white head. Aroma: malts, grasses, spices, some hops. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Soft creamy texture. Taste: first sweet malts, then some spices, hop bitters and fruits. Aftertaste: fruity, citrus fruits, hop dryness. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this beer.

Note: I also had another sample from a bottle with yellow label, with lots of American hops. It was even better, but alas no tasting notes. :(
