Hand pulled at The Major Oak, Nottingham. Amber, one-dimensional (using that phrase a lot lately) bitter with a slight bitter taste and not much depth. So so ale.
cask from Market Place Alehouse, Doncaster. Amber golden clear colour. Aroma is low coffee, caramel, herbs and citrusy. Taste is bittery and fruity, light soury. Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, sour malt notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, sour malt, fruity - apples. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.

Pint on cask. Pours amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is grassy, roasted malt, caramel, wholemeal bread, oak. Taste is grassy and earthy with caramel and roasted malt. Medium bitterness, some chocolate and banana, light bough, medium carbonation. Don’t know what an ’IPA-style bitter’ is meant to be.

Tap, London. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready and caramel malty with some herbal, fruity and wooden notes. Flavour is wood, mild resiny and caramelly notes with slight biscuity notes.
