Very very classy bottle presentation.
Deep deep black beer with a very nice frothy, bubbly tan head.
Fine dark, deep dank coffee, toast, dark chocolate, fig aroams assault the nose, pickin up some cream, and slight funk..very nice.
Sweet side of Baltic Porter here..sweet with creamy undertones and figs/date fruitiness, bitter coffee after taste.
Ok on the tongue..slightly less than expected but that enhances drinkability.
Good beer for a cheap price..thinking this would be an excellent Christmas dinner dessert beer. Firefly54 (246) - - NOV 30, 2011
Pours jet black with a thick cappachino coloured head. Smells like a dark chocolate fudge brownie. A bit of dank earthiness in there. Nice medium thick mouthfeel but not cloying. Dark chocolate, vanilla and a little red fruit in there. Not picking up much malt and no hop flavours. Not overly sweet but would go well with clotted cream ice cream covered in chocolate sauce. Almost more like a strong chocolate beer than a porter. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 3, 2012
Bottled (thanks Kim N!). Very deep brown, close to black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, mild chocolate, alcohol and some mild coffee with liquorice and mild smoked wet wooden notes. Flavour is roasted malts, some mild caramel, toffee, chocolate and mild alcoholic sweetness. Lovely. blutt59 (6579) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 16, 2013

I think it is some good Baltic porter. Strong bittersweet taste, aroma of malts and coffee. Absolutely drinkable

Colour is red dark, head is creamy. Nose is roasted malts with some caramel, chocolate, honey and oak. The body is medium, carbon enough. Taste is sweet. Palate is associated with chocolate, chicory and coffee. Aftertaste mild sweet. [email protected]
16.9 oz bottle. Pour is a clean black with a modest light beige head. Aroma is milk chocolate with hints of coffee and hops. Taste is chocolatey sweet with a slight note of bitter coffee and cream. Touch of molasses. Very silky smooth mouthfeel. You do feel the booze kick on the way down to warm your chest. Nice sipping beer. msbernac (2861) - Krakow, POLAND - APR 26, 2014

Overall- very good chinchill (5311) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 22, 2014
500ml bottle consumed on the banks of the McKenzie River (OR).
Opaque red-brown; very good, semi-durable tan head that leaves ample sticky lacing.
Aroma: Dark fruits; dark bread; raisins; other dark fruits. Nicely boozy.
Flavor: Follows the promise of the aroma. Moderate level of dark roasted malts flavor. Faint coffee in the aftertaste. Lightly (but perhaps too) sweet.
Feel: soft medium carbonation. Creamy smooth, medium-full body.
O: Exceptional. Perhaps even better than Zywiec.
