On tap at Ambrausianum, Bamberg, Germany. A hazy dark golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Yeasty, malty, spice aroma. Tastes similar, yeasty, malty, spice and slightly dry. Bit of a let down to be honest. Finn (8305) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 24, 2014
Fra fat på bryggeripuben 10 Okt 14. Gyldenbrun. Lavt skum. Bra sitrusaroma. Smaken er banan. Blir litt syrlig etter hvert. Passe søt. Rune (13770) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 23, 2014

On tap at The Ambrausianum, Bamberg, Bavaria. Cloudy gold with white head. A bit of an over the top wheat ale, heavy on the pear drop acidity, grain, banana. I wasn’t very keen on this.

Hazy orange color. Moderate banana aroma. Flavor is banana cream, almost minty, candy-like esters in flavor. A very unique yeast profile. semi sweet finish, slight carbonic bite. BeerViking (5133) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. A bit drier than most local Weizens, a little spicy, not bad but not great either. OllieBBommel (1560) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 13, 2013

My first beer in Bamberg. I am against the grain on this one, I thought this was a good weizen. Very dark for the style, like egg yolk in the glass. Banana, cloves, and wheat, and it is sweet. Great palate and a good weizen.
