Cycled into town (Bamberg) from our campsite just outside at Bug 16-06-10 had this on tap at the brewpub Ambrausianum For a wheat beer I found this to be only slightly cloudy in the dimly lit surroundings of this pub. Some chewy banana dusty nose, some sweetness, bit safe and nowt special. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0 fugitive (2061) - Athens, GREECE - JUN 24, 2010

Not much aroma. Flavors are very neutral. Light sweet, hint of bitterness, light soapy, very light fruity. No banana.
Clear deep golden with a medium white head. Sweet fruity aroma with notes of malt and hops. Flavour was sweet with malt caramel and grassy hops towards the finish. BartC (727) - Lichtaart, BELGIUM - AUG 2, 2009
Almost amber colored beer. Fruity aroma and taste but very very thin bodied. Almost water like.

Cloudy, slight amber accent to the straw colour. Sweet, banana-accented aroma. Sweet and kind of candyish. Bland. A lower-tier weizen. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 21, 2009
Draft sample at brewery. Medium gold with slight haze, a lasting tight white head. Not the best looking weizen. Aroma is socky, a bit sour, maybe some pedio in here? Sour lemon/orange aromas. Soft mouthfeel. Tastes better than it smells with some good fruitiness and a light body that is more reminiscent of a witbier than a German hefeweizen. Has distinct orange flavors and a pretty dry, pithy finish. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 6, 2009
Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Little white head. Grainy and bready aroma with some banana hints. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is cleaner with rather thin fruity banana still, similar grains here. Aftertaste lasts with yeast and lemon. omhper (25956) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 15, 2008
Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy pale yellow, no head. estery raspberry aroma. Sweet and yeasty with clean rounded mouthfeel. Sweaty and lifeless. Finishes with estery berries and alcohol. Sub-par for Bamberg. DSG (15432) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - AUG 9, 2008
(7/2/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Hazy amber color. Aroma has some citrus and light estery notes. Sweetish flavor with some yeast and some fruitiness. Light to medium-bodied. Not a whole lot of flavor.
