Medium brown, similar actually to the St. Georgen Brau Keller bier that I drank the night before across the street. Not much in maltiness or sweetness, super carbonated—way too much so actually, and with an earthy taste to go along. Very dry, slightly hoppy, but very earthy. It was ok, but I did not like it much. Cycled into town (Bamberg) from our campsite just outside at Bug 16-06-10 had this on tap at the brewpub Ambrausianum Pours brown and is cloudy in appearance but light poor in pub so difficult to be anymore certain. The nose is sour and fruity, malty and tangy in the mouth some sour fruit not that great. A5 A3 T6 P3 Ov11 2.8

Color darker orange with small head. Aroma caramel, sweet, bread. Taste sweet, caramel.

Quickly disappearing head, leaving no lace. Burnt sugar flavor, very sweet and unbalanced. Full of technical flaws and besides that not very easy to drink.

On tap in Bamberg. Color was an amber auburn with not much head. Aroma of caramel malt and bread. Flavor was very much the same. Sweet malt with some strange Belgian like qualities. Slightly hazy light amber. Slight crackerlike aroma is fairly uninspiring. Thin, some cracker notes. Very sweet finish. Watery. Light cracker finish with cantaloupes and lychee silliness.
