On tap at the Brewpub. Leicht trübes strohgelbes Bier mit einer ordentlichen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig grasig, leicht würzig. Geschmack sehr hopfig, grasig, floral, leicht trocken.

Fra fat på bryggeripuben 10 Okt 14. Veldig lys gusjegulgrønn. Lavt tett skum. Beskjeden maltaroma. Smaken litt tynn. Maltpreg også her. Avslutter tørt.

Bierprobe,100ml vom fass, 5.4 % abv, at the brewpub. Pale golden body, slightly hazy. Fair white head, spotty lacing to the glass. Floral hoppy smell, citrus hints to it. Mid-sweet lemony flavours joined by bread. Dry ending with a touch of fruits. Fresh and smooth on the swallow. Well made, like it. (Bamberg 10.10.2014).

Although it was hazy on tap at the brewpub in Bamberg, bottled Ambräusianum Hell pours a clear golden color with a decent white head and some lacing. The malts on the nice nose are creamy and milky, while the hops remind of grass, flowers, and lemon zest. On the palate, the creaminess comes through quite a bit up front, followed by grassy and citric hops on the mid-palate which come with a bitter backbone for balance. The bitterness stays well into the dry finish. The carbonation is a little more on the fizzy side for a lager, but it is far from being over-carbonated. Decent.

On tap at the brewery in Bamberg Hazy gold slight orange lasting white head. I thought it was hoppy and decent. Good floral noble hops. Good helles. Better than most. Definitely hoppy and bitter. Actually exceptional. Aroma is so so but the rest is good. Bit over carbonated but a really good helles.
