Almost no aroma; cloudy yellow color. This is excellent as well. Crisp hop bite at the start. Smooth finish. Tasty.

diabel (1721) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - JUL 31, 2006
On tap at the brewpub Slightly off-white, creamy head with an excellent lace. Mostly diminishing head. Hazy, lightly yellow body. Aroma of grass and citrus. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Moderately bitter finish. A very lovely fruity flavour of oranges. Lightly bodied. Well balanced and refreshing. Strange though that the good initial impression weakens out after drinking more of it.

rauchbier (3908) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2004
Tap, at the Brewpub, July 2004. Hazy peach, thin but lasting off white head and gentle condition. Initial snatch of sulphur that soon disappears under an assault of hops in the nose, sweet and malty in the mouth with a touch of yeastiness but well balanced by some good solid hop flavour. Finish is long and initially sweet but the hops again shine through. An ususualy well hopped helles, deserving of wider recognition.

crossovert (13421) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 2, 2011
UPDATED: MAY 16, 2011 vom Fass in a Bierprobe. This one is awesome, not much diacetyl but rather a big hoppy note reminiscent of American Helles beers. It isn’t the best in the style, but it is a unique take for a German brewer.

Cuso (8880) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - AUG 1, 2011
On tap at brewpub. Hazy yellow color with medium white head. Aroma of grain, flowers, some fruity notes. Taste, surprisingly very floral, with some fruity notes. Nice long bitter finish. Nice.

asheft (3098) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 17, 2008
[on tap at brewpub] Fresh hops and apricot aroma with some plums, strawberries, sweet malt, and a tiny hint of banana. Almost clear amber with a while flanel blanket on top that leaves nice lacing. Excellent malt flavour followed by some floral hops and medium bitterness. Quite biscuity. Medium body, good carbonation, a tad mouth coating.

3fourths (9351) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 5, 2008
Draft at the brauhaus in Bamberg. Unfiltered bright yellow colored body, slightly hazy, with a white head and active, rising bubbles. Clean yeast and dusty fruit in the nose. Flavor of dry fruit, yeasty, chewy dough and fresh lemon, drying slightly in the finish. Tart fruit at times, other times somewhat sweet. Pretty good beer overall, no complaints from me.

McWorta (1633) - LUXEMBOURG - AUG 20, 2012
Hazy golden colour. Soft frothy velvety head. Has a fresh bit coriander/herb/floral nose. Rather soft, light sweet and hints of straw/wooden taste. Finish is soft balanced and medium long.

harrisoni (19006) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2014
On tap at the brewery in Bamberg Hazy gold slight orange lasting white head. I thought it was hoppy and decent. Good floral noble hops. Good helles. Better than most. Definitely hoppy and bitter. Actually exceptional. Aroma is so so but the rest is good. Bit over carbonated but a really good helles.
