Appearance pours a cloudy orange amber supporting a steady head leaving fair curtain of lace. Smell has a sweet citrus piney aroma with caramel malt. Taste has an upfront hit of hops with grapefruit citrus backed by the sweetness of the malt. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. yngwie (17102) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 30, 2013
Bottle, 22oz. A hazy, dark amber colored beer topped by a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma escaping the bottle immediately after opening it was wonderwul, tropical fruits and pine cones in abundance. When poured into the glass, it’s still nice, but the maltyness is a bit too evident I think. Some caramel and bready notes. In the flavor the bitterness is king, but the caramel, bready malts do what they can to smoothen it out. Pine cones, some pineapple and a grassy touch too. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish with citrus peel, canned pineapples syrup and bitterness. Fortunately not as malty as the initial flavor. Certainly a beer I could drink more of, even though I prefer my IPA’s less malty. 130630 maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose is floral and citrusy, and if you catch it at the right time, almost fruity. Taste is hoppy, and only slightly bitter, with a nice bit of balance to it. Feels fairly light, and drinkable. kvanrij (6) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 30, 2013 does not count
It is frustrating to have to put comments here each time you drank a beer! I just want ro rate it!! DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Clear gold with sticky white head. Heady earth aromas....dirt, pine and underbrush. Full bodied palate is very bitter, very green. To me, this is a hop bomb. No complexity, no subtlety, just a bite into a big green hop. I don’t like it. To the brewers credit, if the ratings on this site are any indication, he does.know what sells.

Bottle from 5000! Just in time for hockey playoffs. Pours a hazy amber color with a light tan head. Aroma is caramel, sweet malts and some faded hops. Taste is sweet with some bitterness. Pretty balanced. Medium bodied and easy to drink. Pretty decent. Ferris (16093) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 10, 2013
Bottle - Grapefruit and some pine with a malty backbone. Clear copper with a foamy head. Grapefruit and resin with a strong bitterness that tapers quickly. You can feel the alcohol in the finish. Not bad. XaenDovet (1282) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 24, 2013
On tap at London pub. Copper/orange. Aroma of orange and grapefruit. citrus and dry hops. Resin. Good. tiggmtl (4544) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - APR 12, 2013
Spicy, floral, and citrus hop notes grace the sweet aroma. Hazy copper body topped by a decent white head that recedes to cover with some lacing. Hop forwards flavour delivers what the aroma suggests with a nice supporting malt base and moderate to strong bitterness. Moderate for a PNW IPA that is. Medium bodied with decent carbonation.. Enjoyed on tap at Portland Craft. trujahwarrior (510) - Monroe, Washington, USA - APR 1, 2013
Pours a hazy copper color with a thick creamy head that leaves amazing lacing. Smells of citrus, caramel, pine, and resin. Tastes of all the same things with the citrus being the most prevalent flavor. This is also very hop forward. Mouthfeel is chewy and creamy with good carbonation and a dry finish. Overall this was a really good tasting northwest style ipa highly recommended for any hop head.
