Beautifully co2ed draft at the brewer in stl. Nice amber color, big head nice lacing. Smell is noticeably hopped. Flavor has some granola like grain. Heavy hops for the style up front and a crisp of adjuncty finish. Hate that I like this. And I would drink it at 2$ a 12 pk any day.

Sampled at the Biergarten. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw and grass with a bit of sweetness underlying. Flavor has a clean grain and straw note with a thin finish.

phaleslu (9709) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 26, 2014
Draft at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten in St. Louis at the end of the brewery tour. Macro whale alert! Pours a clear orange-amber with a big off-white head. Notes of toasted and biscuit and caramel malts, hay, grass, and earth. Light-medium bodied, with high carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. I wish I could issue more of a corrective on those earlier shitty ratings from way back when, but I have to be honest. Either way, this is a well-made lager. Id have no qualms about ordering one of these at a bar.

Draft to pint at the St. Louis brewery. Looks good; a transparent pale bronze with foamy eggshell head. Smells of mildly bitter hops, lager yeast, and a bit of grain. Tastes like it smells with a fairly crisp medium light-bodiedmouthfeel. One of ABs better lagers that Id like to see bottled. Would be a nice lawnmower or beach brew.

TheAlum (7051) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Draft on tap at the Anheuser Busch Brewery (St. Louis, MO). Pours a deep amber hue, a faint haziness and darker glow in the body. Frothy whitish head atop stays as a firm filmy. Decent lacing and stick around. Aromas are abit grainy, gentle carmelized malts and gentle earthiness. A touch of yeast, some muted paper and gentle honeybrown biscuit touch. Initial is medium bodied, a touch of girth with bready malts, crusty bread and a touch of carmelized malts. Bready, gentle yeastiness grows with a touch of oomph in the body. Some gentle faint toast, crisp touch of fruit. Backend is dry, crisp with gentle toast, earthiness and mellow grain backing. The beer has a decent touch of girth, toastiness in the middle. Not bad.

Draft at STL brewery. Nose is caramel with some peppery hops. Pour is amazingly clear reddish color with a nice white head that laces. Moderately hoppy up front with a caramel note. Medium mouthfeel. Holy cow this may be the happiest beer from AB Ive ever had. Actually really decent if this is at the same price point as other AB beers.

This was the surprise of the AB tour for me and for a lot of other fine fellows as well. It is a cheap American lager that is hopped up like an authentical Pilsener from the old country. I am into it. It is also a bit darker than most cheap beers, more of a copper orange than a yellow. Its head is of fine bubbles and it leaves some nice spots of lace on the side of the glass. As mentioned it is quite hoppy and those hops have sort of an American character, lemony and citric. I would guess American grown noble hops but really I am just making stuff up just like everyone else who tries to guess hop varieties. It has a touch of malty sweetness and crisp carbonation that is not overdone. I am hoping this stuff pops up locally for me.
