Bleh. I should be an american hero for drinking this. Certainly does no credit to the words "American made". Has a weird sweet grainy flavor. Same with the aroma. Kind of painful. Jackolan (20) - - NOV 8, 2014
Apple. Tart. Unremarkable. Don't bother. Beer without the beer taste. No aftertaste.
This is most certainly true. gbeerrater (29) - Louisiana, USA - JUL 2, 2014
Aroma: Corn, paper,old apple juice
Appearance: very similar to budweiser
Taste: basic cheap beer flavors with a metallic and old apple juice finish
sweet and then bitter finish with metallic notes
Palate: Watery, thin leaving much to be desired.
Overall: Only saving grace was it was a $3.99 a six pack special at Bevmo for the 4th of July holiday. Can’t knock something unless you try it at least once and once is more than enough . Budget stretcher beer for those hit by Obama and seemed almost un-american to sell to the public
as pale lager however only out $4.5 bucks not the end of the world.
Life is to short to drink bad beer, i’ll pass on this one for future trips to bevmo brokensail (16599) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 16, 2014
Bottle @ home. T. Hanks, Jake. Clear golden pour with a soapy white head. Chlorine, grain, and sugar on the nose. Some cardboard, caramel sauce, and white grape. Really just sweet and watery. Cardboard, caramel, and simple syrup. Some grape and apple esters. Kind of grainy, mild malt character. As expected. wlajwl (6940) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - OCT 28, 2013
Aroma and flavor is mild grain sweetness, very light fruit and beery. Passable.

Can. Medium gold colored body with a bright white head. Sweet corn nose with lots of raw grain and some leather in the nose. Not pleasant to smell. this tastes fairly sweet with corn and notes of green wood. This is overaly sweet with bits of raw bread dough. Rough. Cavie (4760) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 1, 2013
Bottle. Watery aroma with a bit more breadiness than the light version. Flavor is bready, watery and a bitter finish. If nothing else, it's refreshing.

Visiting STL and at a crappy bar listening to some music. Beer choices are slim and tap lines are dirty. But I am in the mood for some liberty as any real patriot would be. fortunately American Patriot and the light are only 2 bucks. Asked for a glass and got a beautiful Bud Light STL Blues glass. Pours with a tiny head. Color is macro deep yellow. Aroma is perfectly in line to attract the Bud lovin crowd that also keeps up with the high finance of the international malt beverage industry. Smells of rotting apple core, garbage corn, and the sweet smell of ’Merica. It goes great with the surrounding aroma of hot sauce. My lower intestine wants to jump up my throat to block any chance of this beer reaching my stomach while simultaneously choking me and putting me out of the misery of having to taste this vile toilet moisturizer. The one or two small sips I can muster taste like corn syrup and sweet rotten apple juice. thegreenrooster (4483) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - APR 6, 2013
Pour is a clear yellow with a large white head that dissapears quickly. Aroma is grain, maybe some corn or other adjuncts. Flavor is almost nothing. Watery and goes flat quickly. I was looking for a good lager to have around the house for summer and this ain’t it. Way too watery and flavorless. I’ll stick with Schlafly summer. unclemike (3160) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Poured a small white head with sparse lacing, transparent, fast rising carbonation, and a yellow hue. Aroma was malty and some corn. Flavor was malty, crisp and clean. Tingly mouthfeel. Nothing special here
