Itís time to "man up" when you tackle this Imperial IPA! A powerful punch of hoppy aroma hits your nose. The use of Amarillo, Citra, Columbus and Simcoe hops creates a rich, deep golden color and imparts a slight hop haze. Intense bitterness followed by a clean finish lets you know youíve SCORED with this Imperial!

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2016 On tap at Craft Cafe Imazato. This was wonderfully smooth for such a high ABV. I had a few 2IPAs this night and this was lower in hop profile and more up with a slightly sweet malty backbone than the others. Some nice complexity in the mouthfeel as I washed it around, a lingering caramel taste.

American power play double IPA 8% pint at Imazato. A pine and apricot nose with bready caramel malt notes in the aroma. Medium bodied with a zesty mouthfeel. The taste is well balanced pine, fruits & bready caramel fudge. A solid double IPA where the ABV is imperceptible.

Who says Seattle isnít a hockey town - they have more hockey-themed beers here than any brewery in Vancouver. Hazy amber. Thin head. Big hop nose, a bit indistinct, and some equally indistinct chewy malts. Rich, a bit boozy, a lot of malts, leaning towards chewiness. Moderate apparent bitterness underneath of all this. Ok for style.

On cask at Washington Brewers Cask Festival, pours a cloudy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry and sort of stale, with bready malt and stale hops. Flavour brings out lots of bittering hops without much actually flavour, with a dry bready malt backing. Quite a stale astringent beer. This doesnít seem quite right. Bad.

A ton of caramel sweetned iced tea on the nose with citrus hop notes lots of candied.citrus and thats it. Wow. Pours hazy amber orange pour nice lace thin head. Flavors of super sweet caramel residual sugar and candied citrus. Like the citrus hate the caramel and iced tea. Fuck. Full sweet sticky. Not my favorite. Good elements but execution is not my fav.

Draft at DeLuxe. Clear, copper, minimal head. Maybe some lightly sweet, toasted malt, but mostly astringent and alcoholic. A bit like a barleywine with more hop bitterness than flavor.

[email protected] Clear amber color with ivory head. Very nice floral hop, pale malt aromas. Smooth medium body. Tasty floral hop flavors with smooth sweet pale malts, and mild booze. Nicely bitter finish--very good.

Draft at sb. Pours a cloudy dark amber with a loose tan head. Huge fragrant explosive nose of grapefruit, mango, pineapple, and pine. Creamy oily thick body with lively carb. Beautifully intense caramel, grapefruit, pine, and tropical fruit mid palate with a long piney finish. Dimensional, coherent, explosive, and delicious.

Dark amber in color, clear with a thin head. Nice big malt build with a great hop backing. This is a super big tasty Double IPA. Skip does it again.
