3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured two fingers of head on a hazy, dark golden colored body. Great head retention.
The aroma has a nice floral scent, honey and dry grain.
The taste is a little disjointed, a moderate dry bitterness moves to a harsher bitter taste. A little bread and yeast.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
Looks and smells great, the taste wasn’t as good but still a worthy beer.
Aka Au Golden. Started here, and while not offensive, really really nothing that stands out in a boring category either. Slightly fruity aroma is pleasant enough, very small and boring otherwise..." joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - OCT 26, 2013
22 oz. bomber. It pours a nice deep gold color with a good white head. The aroma is nice and balanced with some bready malt, light banana and melon/papaya fruit with a bit of noble hop spice. The flavor is full with more bready malt and big time fruity esters, mostly melon and grape, with a balanced earthy/spicy noble hop finish. A really satisfying and full flavored blonde ale. Nice work. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 18, 2013
On tap @ American River. Clear golden pour with a white head. Nice floral hop and honey aromas. Biscuit, bread, and a touch of grass. Moderate sweetness. Flavors of honey and biscuit with a floral hop note. A touch of grass, some bread, dough, and a hint of citrus peel. Strykzone (7430) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUL 24, 2013
Bomber from Hayduke. We had this together via facebook chat. This beer pours as the name implies, golden. It has plenty of active carbonation and a two finger off white head that never leaves. A light aroma of fruit and soft grassy and citrus hops. Flavors include a bit of cinnamon, soft fruit including tangerine and apricot, and light caramel. Late in the glass a bit of applesauce. The aftertaste is a dry and long lasting bitterness. This beer is better when colder and does not finish strong. The hops fade away leaving the fruit and malts. I had this after doing a 3 mile run on a warm day and it was a good choice. This is a nice session beer. hayduke (5573) - Eureka, California, USA - JUL 24, 2013
This was shared with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. Nice new beer from a new brewery. Poured golden as its name would imply. Raised a nice white head. Moderate lacing. Medium in body. Smooth clean mouthfeel. The nose is caramel malts and some light grassy hops. Flavor show stone fruit, mostly tangerine. Dry bitter finish. Very refreshing and easy drinking. A flavorful and well crafted APA. Very nice.

Unremarkable American lager, though clean, good carbonation, clear golden color, just no characteristic outstanding. bhensonb (15352) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 18, 2012
Tap at the Black Dragon. Pours amber golden with a huge creamy white head. Aromas of caramel and light floral hop. Near med body. Flavor is light caramel with light pitted fruit and a hint of citrus. Blandish, but it works well. Finishes towards dry. marcus (10346) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 2, 2012
On tap at Davis Brewfest. Pours clear blonde with a rich white head and a mild toffee aroma. There is a thin pale malt flavor with a dry finish.
