Pinball (12647) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 24, 2018
bottle. clear red-brown amber, small light brown head. *really* nice deep malty aroma with strong notes of cognac too, but not spritty, fainter toffe notes and wood (oak) notes. super nice barly wine aroma and then the cognac and wood on top of that, in a well blended manner. wow. Flavor is coconuts, licorice, chocolate, malts, fainter nuts, fairly standard barrelled cognac barley wine flavor, but pretty well done. booze is a bit more noticeable in flavor than it was in aroma. In any case, a very good not that sweet barley wine.

Pours ruby brown with small off-white head. Nose is caramel, sweet bread, nuts, raisins. Taste is sweet malts, dried dark fruits, sugar syrup, rum-imbibed oak barrel. Warming, boozey and semi-bittery aftertaste. Low carbonation, sticky mouthfeel, low to medium carbonation.

Lore (3028) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 10, 2017
hazy brown colour, moderate sized dense beige head; aroma of walnut liqueur, dried plum and cherry, slight vanilla, (green)apple, brandy, as well as woody notes; taste of dried plum and cherry soaked in alcohol, slightly burnt plum jam, burnt sugar, cognac or brandy notes, hints of apples, tannines and spicy alcoholic aftertaste; good one!

alteregoo (1875) - Kalisz, POLAND - OCT 5, 2017
Piana średnio obfita, lekko sycząca, szybko opadająca do chmurki. Barwa miedziana, opalizująca. W zapachu słodowo, karmelowo, do tego trochę rodzynek i starego chmielu, beczka w postaci delikatnej waniliny i koniaku w dalekim tle.
Ps.
Kwas izowalerianowy oczywiście znika po kilku minutach, w miarę "oddychania" piwa po przelaniu do szkła...
