From Birra Amiata, one of Italy’s most creative craft brewers, comes this marvelous Italian take on the India Pale Ale style. A delicately hopped nose marries perfectly with an assertively hopped malt character to give a beer that is full-bodied with a clean, bright finish. Re-fermened in the bottle.

Draft at Alla Spina. Pours a cloudy gold with average white head. Aroma of pennies and apples. Taste of apple juice and sunflower seeds, average body. I did not care for this.

Tjoxen (173) - SWEDEN - FEB 7, 2013
Pours hazy golden with white fluffy head. Aroma is hoppy with citrus and grass. Taste of citrus, citrus peel, grass. The finish is dry and bitter with lots of citrus peel. Very nice!

Dark gold with an orange tinge and white head. Aroma is citrus, mostly lemon with a little dusty old attic thrown in. Flavor is a great balance of malt and hops with a bitter finish which is less than aggressive. Overall a very good example of an APA, but a bit pricey.

Maybe old bottle, not a bad price considerign other italian ipas go for the same price but for way less. THsi was a 750. It is decent but not super hoppy.

Bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a hazy dark golden orange color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is citrus, floral hops, bready malts and lightly grassy. The flavor has orange citrus, toasted bread, grassy, and mild earth.

This beer is basically an IPA. If you like Sweetwater IPA this is almost the exact same beer. Slightly darker than sweetwater IPA and hoppier. I am going to try and find this and compare the two because I swear it cam out of the same building. :)

TEJA (3099) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 21, 2012
Big pressure. Big fluffy lasting head. Clowdy golden color. Big piny citrus hop aroma. Big hop taste and fine sparkle and smooth maltiness. Big body and firm but not over powering bitterness.

For Italy at Epcot. Full bodied and fully hopped. A really nice pale ale. Very good stuff ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ClubGonzo (5670) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 9, 2012
Botte @ VANØ Bergen’s Christmas Gathering 2012. Pours a hazy orange body with a big cloudy white head. Nose is citric peel, kiwi, straw, hints of red fruits and grapefruit. Taste is earthy leaves, citrus, straw and hints of green apples. Much more citrusy in the aroma than in flavor. Medium carbonation and body. OK, but not my favorite.

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 20, 2012
Draft. Clear light amber body, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, some grapefruit, bread. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, grapefruit, light pine, bread/caramel. Light-medium body, some resin.
