COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From Birra Amiata, one of Italys most creative craft brewers, comes this marvelous Italian take on the India Pale Ale style. A delicately hopped nose marries perfectly with an assertively hopped malt character to give a beer that is full-bodied with a clean, bright finish. Re-fermened in the bottle.

750 ml bottle @ WPBF 2013.
Pours a cloudy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and some caramel. Flavour is rather rich with floral hops, grapefruit, yeast, mango and caramel malts. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a floral, bitter, yeasty finish. With a less yeasty character this would rock.

Aroma is somewhat fruity with peaches, some caramel and pineapples. Flavour has resiny hops, pineapples, some gooseberry bush and biscuits. Nice.

Draught at Viisi Penni, Helsinki. Pours hazy pale amber in color with small off-white head. Pine and exotic fruits in aroma. Grapefruit bitterness in taste, not as fruity as the aroma would suggest. Leaves a nice smooth grassy bitterness in aftertaste. A bit of some mild soapy notes as well.

Pours yellow-gold with a thick white head. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruits and honey. Taste is light syrup blended with heavy pilsener-like maltiness. The hoppy bitterness sneaks in for the finish.

Aroma is citrus/orange, yeast, spices and a small hint of sweetness. The flavor is citrus, biscuit malts, fruit/tropical fruit and a mix of earthiness and tartness in the finish. Somewhat had a bitter mixed with IPA profile, pretty good.

Tap. Pours hazy amber with a large off-white head, creamy with nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, yeast, caramel, floral, honey. Flavor is the same, medium sweet, lightly bitter. Medium body, creamy, interesting take on the style actually.

Draft at The Birch. Pretty, dense white head atop a cloudy amber body. Aroma is alive with floral hops, citrus fruit and hints of cat pee. Taste is bitter hops but not overdone. Lots of citrus, tropical fruit, floral hops and sweet malt notes. Body is medium and slightly sticky with a creamy dense carbonation. Ends with more ripe citrus fruit notes, sweet malt, floral hops, pineapple and wet hops.

On tap. Cloudy golden with a frothy off white head. Cites, floral and pine. Tastes follow with a lighter sweetness to balance the bitterness.

From a bottle, A nice golden body which was mostly clear but grew cloudy when the yeast was disturbed on the bottom. A nice aroma of bread and grass hops. Some nice bitter hops balanced it out. A nice hop presence, similar in my opinion to an esb. Flavor was well balanced, good malts slightly sweet but mostly bread/cereal. Nice hop bitterness. A nice crisp finish. Would make a great session beer.
