Clear golden with a thin white foamy cap. Lovely floral and leafy fresh hop nose with a touch of earthy dankness. Flavor is good and floral with a backing of grapefruit zest and orange rind, a little kiss of pine resin, earthy and leafy fresh bitterness, and a thick pale malt background. On tap poured a clear deep golden hue w/ minimal head, lasting ring w/ some lacing. Big sweet citrus hop aroma. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a bold bitter finish of long duration. Tastes are pine, straw, and orange citrus. Full bodied and good mouthfeel.

On tap at Foam Fest ’12. Pour is golden orange in appearance with a big, fluffy white head. Aroma is piney, soapy, floral hops, and a touch of caramel. Taste is dank, grass, weed, some resin, but nice floral hops, as well. Balanced well with a nice caramel backbone. Medium body with medium carbonation. Pretty good IPA. grant (842) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JAN 2, 2012
Light brown with some coarse head. Aroma is mainly citrus, with some resiny notes as well. Citrus notes come across more strongly in the flavor, along with some biscuity malt. Well-blended finish with clean mouthfeel. Reminded me of a slightly darker Stone IPA. performula (148) - Heart of the Rockies, Colorado, USA - JUL 13, 2011
You can’t beat a local like this. Great flavor, nice and frothy. The growler refills are $10.50, that’s a little over $2.60 a 16oz. Amazing!

Growler poured a hazy golden amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of biscuit, pine, grapefruit and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthinmess, light pine and light citrus with a smooth dry moderatly bitter finish. bleeng (1682) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - AUG 14, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Nice hazy gold color. Nose of lemony, tart, acidic hops. Taste is the same with a decent malt balance. Very quaffable. Good solid IPA. bblack99 (527) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - AUG 12, 2010
Simply tasty, poured off the tap at the brewpub in Salida. Mostly clear golden-amber pour with a thin white head. Wild aroma of pine and yellow citrus (perhaps even pineapple), overwhelmingly fresh smells. Flavor had a near-perfect balance of malty sweetness and powerful hop bitterness...again, the freshness came through quite clearly. A bit resiny with soft carbonation, but a gem hidden off the beaten path of the Front Range. rader58 (908) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - JUL 14, 2010
Pours a slightly cloudy golden color. Aroma of floral and citrus hops. Flavor is bitter hops of floral, citrus and pine. kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - FEB 7, 2010
Clean copper pour. Small white head. Slight haziness. Strong, hop bittering aroma. Smoth hoppy taste with a short smoth punch at the end. Holds its carbonation well. Delish. Better than what you’re drinking right now.
