The beer poured hazy yellow with a 3-fingered head. the aroma was hoppy with pine and citrus notes. The flavor was a nice hoppy and malt balance with citrus (grapefruit) and pine notes, the bitterness was not overwhelming. There was a good palate that the bitterness does not detract from. Overall a well balanced and drinkable PA with an interesting hop character. onceblind (10548) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 30, 2015
Clear pale golden with a wee little white cap. Bit of a resiny hop aroma that’s a bit dank and grapefruity/floral. Great hoppy flavor that’s floral with plenty of citrus rind and grassy/piney bitterness with a nice pale malt sweetness behind it. drjay44 (3827) - Salida, Colorado, USA - DEC 23, 2008
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a whitish head of good duration with extensive lacing, over a hazy dark golden body ....nose is of grapefruit, resin, pine....tastes initially of mild malts, then lingering moderate citrusy bitterness. Mouth feel is moderately heavy. I guess this was dry hopped using Cascade or Centennial as at least part of the recipe. This is a fine example of an APA. Courtesy of the BMan1113VR. Clear amber with a white head. Mild grassy and floral hop aromas. Medium body. Nice earthy black tea leaf hop flavor on a lightly sweet pale malt base. This could be an every day drinker for me. Nice User29624 (1687) - - MAR 19, 2009

Bottle. Pours clear orange with an average, rocky, white head, somewhat lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, grain, cereal, meal), heavy hops (flowers, perfume, pine, citrus), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apple, pear, and dust. Medium bodied, mineral texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness. mar (5440) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 14, 2009

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark golden with a medium creamy white head that retains fairly well and laces the glass. rader58 (926) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - JUL 14, 2010
The aroma is sweet bready malts and some fruity hops and a little pine.
The flavor is sweet bready malts with a medium fruity floral bitterness. The mouthfeel is a bit light and watery.
Overall, a surprisingly good APA. It’s an APA so not over the top, but is well made and well balanced.
Pours a cloudy light yellow/gold. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Flavor is lavender, very floral with hints of grass & pine. travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 13, 2009
