(bottle) pours a clear ruby-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of roasted grain and light vanilla, with hints of herbal hops, grass and caramel. flavour is mostly the same, with a slightly harsh graininess and a buttery-smoky chewy finish, quite rustic overall. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

kappldav123 (6110) - GERMANY - OCT 13, 2010
Bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Starts malty and strong, quite dry without being too much, fruity like plums. Finish a bit earthy but also well balanced. Quite drinkable. Good beer!

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 13, 2007
Bottle. Starts of slightly sweet, with some subtle nutty caramel notes, bready malt. Finishes off dry with some nice grassy hops, and a mild bitterness. Very drinkable.

Bamsen78 (5452) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2017
Bottle. Pours clear full amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with notes of yeast and some hoppy touches. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with bitter notes of hops and some dusty touches. Estery, dusty and a little bitter aftertaste. Well-balanced and enjoyable. A very decent Dunkel!

2.5
Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 9, 2009
Bottle @ Konji African restaurant. Dark orange-brown with no lasting head. Simplistic sweet bready malt aromas and flavors. Is a clean, simple bready beer with a watery palate. Not bad, just simple.

3.6

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 7, 2011
Test vom 24.5.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,12,13,11,12,12 - 12,00
