MoritzF (9851) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - FEB 22, 2007
(bottle) Slightly hazy, chestnut colour with a fluffy, quite persistent off-white foamy head. Dusty, slightly sweet toast-malty aroma wih the typical Dorn-Bräu barnyard-character, accompanied with a good dose of herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Malt-accented, toasty taste with toffee and light notes of chocolate. Moderately dry, toasty and slightly bitter finish.

3.2
pivnizub (10566) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 28, 2007
Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, firm creamy off-white head; barnyardy, sweet dark-malty and also a bit "oaky" hoppy nose; light bitter-sweet flavour, mild MF; distinctive aromatic hoppy and malty finish. A spicy dark Landbier by an excellent brewer.......

3.2
judasbeer (431) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 15, 2010
Appearance: Coppery brown color with a medium-sized, airy, beige head.
Aroma: Slightly sour lager-yeasty dominance with toffee and caramel-like toasted malty impression. Faint hoppy edge.
Flavor: Mildly toasted nutty, bready malts at the foreground. Nice balance of pure, earthy yeasty notes and toasted breadiness at the mid-palate. Slight grassy hoppy bite with toasted malty dry effect at the finish.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Medium body with soft toasted-malty mouthfeel. Soft carbonation.
Overall: Quite impressive dunkel. Nothing extraordinary, pure, simple and enjoyable.

Koelschtrinker (20216) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 3, 2011
Aromatisch malzig-karamelliger Antrunk, leicht herb. Weiches Finish. 13/10/9/9/10/9

armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - FEB 10, 2010
0,5 l bottle, bought at Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest.
Poured brown with a fine lacing tan head. Moderated aroma whit toasted grains, sourish yeast, some fruity character, honey. Medium bodied beer with a light toasted grainy flavor, sweet caramel, a mild bit of hop in the finish. Drinkable but not a very exciting one.
