Not sure if is the same pils. Called Kuykendal Pils at Saraveza. Poured deep gold with medium white head. Some lacing. Aroma of hop with a bit of bread. Flavour of malt, hops and bread, with a lekker bit of toast. Lingering malty finish with enough hop,

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty bready and grassy aroma. Sweetish malty bready flavor with some grassy hints. Has a sweetish malty bready finish.

This was very easy to drink. A nice take on one of my favorite styles. I love a good clean and crisp pils and this was very good, a tad on the watery side. Biscuity maltiness with some spicy hops and just a hint of grassiness. Gentle carbonation could have been a little more aggressive. Overall, could use some tweaking, but not bad at all.

on tap at the brewery. aroma is slightly citrus and grassy, and light hops. taste is light, a bit sweet, though lots of citrus and spice throughout. a bit watery, though an easy drinker.

Skyview (6093) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 15, 2007
On tap at the brewpub during ABA Beer Tour 07 and our beer tour group finished off the last of this pilsener. Pours a clear golden pale blonde brew with a thin white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film. Aroma of light wheat biscuits, some grassy hops and a touch of sweet citrus. Taste is medium bodied and lightly carbonated with a gritty texture and flavors of light malt and some citrus zest. Finish is slightly metalic, watery with some biscuit aftertaste.

harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JAN 10, 2006
Clear and very faint watery looking beer with a soda head. The flavor is spicy which I was not expecting. Flavor is bigger but again that is not saying much because as the name denotes this beer is forgettable.

Clear and straw yellow. Aroma leads to notes of munich malt, base and spicey hops. Slightly heavy on the palate. Defined maltiness, almost too heavy for style, but works for a Bohemian Pils. Hops are slightly under done, but a nice nobel hops spice seems to come through. A biscuity flavor is left of the tongue with hints of hops and malt. Needs just a little tightening up, but great potential.

Sham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 10, 2005
Pale yellow with a thin filmy head and lace. Husky malts and grassy hops. Yech. There is some odd flavor. Not good. Bad after taste.

Draught, at the brewery

Slight hazy straw colour. Slightly musty, husky aroma. Very bready malt character. Fresh. Low bitterness.

BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - MAR 9, 2005
Sampled draught at Amnesia Brewing, Portland
Pale yellow, pale malts. Nose of toasty malts & crispy hops. The flavor is a bit too husky with more 2-row than anything.
