On tap at brewpub. Slightly orange amber. Easy drinking ESB with a biscuit aroma and similar flavor.

Tap... Poured a golden-orange with a thin, slightly off-white head. Crisp, malty aroma that was like buttered biscuits. Soft palate, not a whole lot of hop or floral flavors, which is fine for the style but this one lacked a little dimension. Otherwise, a nice tame ESB that I’m sure others love this one though.

Nice deep amber coloured body with a very thin slightly off-white head. Aroma of clean english hops, some malt and not much else. Medium-bodied; Assertive english hops very noticeable with toffee, nuts and a bit of malt tucked in. Aftertaste clean and bitter - decent. Overall, a good beer to try, not too complex, but definitely well-rounded. I sampled this beer on draught in Portland, Oregon on 09-September-2006.

after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - APR 5, 2009
On tap at Hard Liver Barleywine Festival 09, Brouwer’s Cafe. And pretty close to being the beer of the day, at that. Slightly hazy medium amber. Dense, creamy tan head. Nice caramel and pine head. Creamy medium body. Caramel, toast, and resin mid-palate. Mild resiny finish.

Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAR 19, 2009
On tap at the brewpub. Amber colored pour with a one finger white head. Too sweet, cloying and far too flat to be of much use to anyone. Least good beer I’ve had from Amnesia thus far.

anders37 (26824) - Malmö, SWEDEN - OCT 20, 2008
Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly sweetish malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweetish malty slightly earthy hoppy caramel flavor. Sweetish malty hoppy caramel finish.

beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - SEP 3, 2008
On tap at the PDX Green Dragon. Pours dark amber with a creamy white head. Big citrus and earthy hop nose. Quick sweetness up front, but blasted out by the hops. More like a red IPA then an ESB, not enough maltiness to it to keep the hops in check.

BlackDonald (1126) - Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA - JUL 2, 2008
This one definitely missed the mark somewhere. Sweeter maltiness than I was expecting for the style, bitter citrus hoppiness. Lacks balance.

Ungstrup (38138) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2008
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2008 A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with grassy notes of hop, and so is the flavor with a dry and very bitter finish.
