Bottle @ local sportsbar, 30 cl sample. Clear yellow color, short frothy head. Aroma has that typical ’weeig’ maltiness, sweet corn and some spicy hop. It’s better than the ’maltbieren’ from earlier days, but it still has that typical sweet alcohol free flavor. Heineken 0.0 is the winner up to 2017, together with alcohol free weizens. Borresteijn (7047) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 8, 2012
33cl Can. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of wet bread, sweet, malty. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, wet bread, fizzy, water, CO2 bitter finish. Light bodied, watery, but if drunk ice cold it’s at least somehow refreshing. Not the worst and certainly better than I remember Amstel Malt to be, although they can’t be too different. McTapps (6889) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - MAR 23, 2014
Pours out of the can in a clear golden colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of gains and straw. Taste of grains, hops, citrus and thyme. Grainy-dusty finish. Refreshing - not that bad for being alcoholfree.
