Bottle, thx to Tarjei. A clear, slightly pale golden beer with a white head. Dusty, cellarish, fruity and grainy aroma suggesting sweetness. Sweet and grainy in the mouth, with some hops. Medium body. Some fruityness and bitterness in the finish. The beer isn’t really bad, it’s just utterly boring, and of no interest. (080731)

Hazy light golden with plenty of thick white head. Lots of vegetables in aroma, some sweet malts but not at all pleasant to the nose. Taste is better but i find mostly sugar and some bitterness.

Local Off-Licence. One of the shittier tasting lagers I’ve come across, then again there’s Tennents and Miller.

Bottle, brown, 330 ml
Appearance:Pours pale golden, yellow body, medium carbonation, body is well filtered and perfectly cleasr, looks very weak and poor, head is intially almost average, but in fact immediately becomes small and tha decreases even more, lacing is not present.
Aroma:When I opened a bottle and made a strong sniff... my God nothing but COWPAT, cow feaces, terrible, later on when poured into a glass corn, some harsh and dull, rather poor hoppyness, notes of popcorn, generally very weak, forgetable.
Flavour:Thin, dominated by water, but by so far better than ’Heineken Pale Lager’, some harsh bitterness on palate is very weak and gentle aroma of blackcurrant, some saltyness on palate, more and more bitterness towards the end. Finish duration is short to medium.
Palate:Body is light, texture is wattery to dry, carbonation on palate is soft, finish feel is chalky, bitter but not in a strong way, watered down. All in all a bit dull, lacking in softyness and freshness as a Pale Lager beer.

A sweet grainy lager, medium bodied. Very popular in the western part of the Netherlands.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2008 33cl bottle from Systembolaget. It poured a pale yellow colour with a medium head that settled down fast. It has a bitter aroma that smells of malts. It has a dry flavor thas tastes of malts and grain.

This beer is huge in Greece, It was everywhere. Had it a few times on draft in Rythmno, Crete. Kind of a soft, delicate aroma and flavor, nothing mind-blowing, but quite nice. There was a lasting flowery impression from the gentle hops. Granted, it was overall not a really exciting beer, but it exceeded my expectations quite a bit.

chilangoglobal (105) - Mexico City, MEXICO - JUN 13, 2008
grass aroma, and unconsistent bitterness, which changes a lot as soon as it gets warmer. just another pale lager, not more, and nothing to say about ending.

phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 19, 2008
Pretty typical, bland and watered down. Pours a bright coloured golden with a small thin white head. Taste is of corn, grain and pears. Aroma is of corn also. Noticeably over malted and watered down.
