Best selling beer in the Netherlands *crying* such an average boring beer. Very popular at parties and festivals. I only drink Amstel if there isn’t anything else.

Pours straw with huge amounts of carbonation. Slight grain on the nose and same in taste. Very little I can say about this other than utterly forgettable.

A good Amstel beats a Heinecken and certainly a Budweiser! This is so true.

Clear pale golden with white head. Aroma is very light sweet malty with a minimal bitter touch and some buttery bynotes. Taste is also very light with some sweet maltiness and light buttery bynotes. Light, almost watery mouthfeel, light carbonation and minimal aftertaste.

Clear pale gold with white head. Limited retention. Aroma has quite a bit of grassiness. A fair amount of bitterness up front, but the finish is a bit watery.

Pours crystal clear pale golden. White frothy head. Aroma of grain, malts and hay. Taste is crisp and sweet. Pale malts, grain and slightly bitter finish. Watery to oily texture, medium carbonation.

Bottle. Probably clear pale golden color with small white head. Aroma is sweet grains, malt. Not much to say. Taste is the same. Medium carbonation, watery. Meh.

Keg in a mobile pub at the New Haw & Woodham Midsummer Event. Not much of an aroma - usual gassy yeasty sweetness. Dull gold. Very thin white head. Wasn’t expecting much tastewise. A light sweetness. Not over done or overly chemical. Light bodied. Watery. Less carbonated than average perhaps. Abrupt finish. You drink it, you forget it.

Draft at Acorn 30, Epsom. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt. Mostly bitter finish.
