COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A special light beer containing only 3.5% alcohol and approximately 35% fewer calories than regular lager beer. But every bit as thirst-quenching and refreshing. Alcohol varies between different US states. In the Netherlands it is 3.5%

A good light beer, but sam adams has to be on of the best - if you can call thier light a light beer. THis has not much flavor or aroma, but there is nothing too offensive about it, so therefore it cant get the worst rating.

Pretty plain beer in general, but far superior to its brewery counterpart, Heineken. Good for a light beer, but nothing exceptional.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2005 Rerate The only reason I drank it this time was to get a free pint glass - man - there is no flavor in here whatsoever - only redeeming quality is that it is low in ABV - so you can drink a lot of these and not lose your edge. 2nd rerate 2.7 1st Rerate Been a while since I had one of these - just not quite as crisp and refreshing as they used to be - palate has matured somewhat; rather thin and watery, not much of a malt or hop presence Original 3.2 So, this is what the yuppies drink? Not bad for a light and not as skunky as its counterpart Heineken. Good choice at an airport bar when there is no alternative. Crisp, refreshing - easy to drink.

This beer is horrible...definitely not as advertised. Boring and almost entirely without taste

Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), trace hops (herbs), with a light note of solvent. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. An unbalanced grainy/plasticine mess.

A good light beer to have with dinner slightly bitter but won’t over power a meal.

Best light beer available, too bad it costs so much

Nothing special about this one. Definately a step up from the American macrobrews. However, if your going to fork out the cash for an import why not make it worth your while. Don’t fall victim to all the hype that this is what ’real’ beer tastes like, it’s not!

Slight bitterness, but too watery. A very small step above American macrobrews, but what’s the point. Also, big negative for using the insufferable Dennis Miller as a pitchman.

A decent light beer (somewhat oxymorish). Tastes like a decent pilsner with ice cubes.
