Draught at The Sol y Mar Cafe, Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, Spain on Derek’s Stag Weekend. Yellow gold with fizzed head. Heavily fizzed beer, quite surprised to see that it’s brewed in Espana. The normal fusty CO2 character, thin malts, cereals. Not great.

Reserva ist hier eigentlich nix. Trotz des hohen Alkoholgehalrts eine dumpfe Mischung aus Reis, etwas Mais und Getreide. Duenn und einzig durtch ein wenig Kohlensaure lebendig. Langweilig ohne Ende.

The beer has got a clear golden colour with a small head and medium body. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of mild hops, mild citrus fruits, malt, bread, straw, grains. Drinkable, yet nothing good.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of fruit, but also ligth notes of hops. The flavor is sweet matly with notes of caramel and light notes of alcohol, leading to a dry bitter, alcoholic, and metallic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing. The body is thin due to low level of residual sugar.

Bov (13004) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 22, 2008
courtesy of Antonio Rey Ruiz - clear golden-bronze colour with a little persistent foam; a good balance between malts and hops in the nose, notes of peanuts; good malt body with some sweetness, tasty, late but decent bitterness, long malty and biscuity finish - a good one

Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2008
(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear deep golden with a small, white head. Malty nose. Rather full body with a solid malt base but unfortunately also a somewhat crude and bitter finish. 030608
