COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mr. Jamie Mistry, Amsterdam Brewmaster, has brewed a beer with the perfect balance. Carefully combining the boldness of a pale ale with the smoothness of an easy drinking lager to create a Deluxe Amber Beer we call Big Wheel. Ingredients: Brewed with a blend of imported Pale and Crystal malts for a bright Amber colour and sweet malt character. Dry hopped with a blend of UK hops to achieve a perfect balance of rounded malt and hop taste. Taste Profile: A full bodied robust taste that is perfectly balanced. Not too bitter or heavy. Initial malt and hop aromas in the nose balanced by roasted male and caramel flavours. Not overpowering with a slightly crisp finish.

Pours dark amber with a thin off white head. Aroma is mildly malty. Taste is sweet up front then finishes moderately bitter. There are notes of bready malt with a hint of caramel and nuts, vinegar, and herbal, grassy hops. Light bodied with plenty of carbonation. While hoppy enough not to be bland, it lacks any real character. Tastes like a Vienna lager.

Drank on draught. Smells slightly malty, but not much else. Pours a medium brown with head that disappears quick. Taste is well balanced, malty and creamy. Perfect carbonation when they no aftertase. Overall I really enjoyed this beer. Very easy drinking. Highly recommend. MB The Beer "Bear"on

Pours clear orange amber with a fast fading fizzy white head. Aroma is faint malt and nuts. Like the aroma the taste is faint. Not bad but nothing special

Amber pour, fairly large head, good lacing. Light citrus in the aroma, caramel sweetness, that’s about it. Light citrus up front, malty, caramel, some bread. Unusually thin, almost like they were going for a session amber/vienna hybrid. For the tl;dr crowd: feh.

I drank this on tap at the piston in Toronto. Good tasty draught lager good medium between over-the-top taste and watery-ness.

Clear orange liquid, small head. Weak aroma of fruits. Light body, hardly any carbonation. Taste is sweet, but quite weak.

Can, Mulmur, ON, Canada via LCBO. Hazy amber. Thick head. Caramel and citrus hops with some autumn spice. Mellow, sweet then sharp citrus hops finish it out. Pretty standard.

Tap at the Fox and the Fiddle in Toronto. Clear, darkish golden / amber with a well-retaining light beige head. Pretty nice and nutty on the nose with hints of red berries and caramel, grassy hops. Flavour’s sweetish, nutty, jammy, with a herbal, grassy finish. Dryish mouthfeel, active carbonation, medium body. A pretty nice one to down pint after pint in good company.
