This is going to be a biased review as this is the beer that got me into IPA's and really craft in general, so keep that in mind. Pours a beautiful dark orange colour, body is not too hazy but has a massive frothy and long lasting head. Highly carbonated. Aroma is primarily of grapefruit, but also notes of citrus and hops in general. Taste is very smooth, with a very grapefruit forward taste but also hints of other citrusy fruits, and a nice hoppy and dry finish. Very bitter beer, but still completely balanced. One of my favorite IPA's, and one that I will continue to drink in the future. AgentAle (1889) - Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 28, 2018
Aroma is citrus, caramel and honey. Taste is rich sweet malts, citrus and and earthy hopiness. howtohideit (13) - - FEB 13, 2018

This was delicious and simply wonderful for a stronger beer. The citrus and pine elements--two of my favourite flavourings, by the way--were just right, neither too subtle nor overpowering. Certainly a go-to for me, from here on in... AWS9 (756) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 20, 2017
On tap at the brewhouse. Deep gold pour with large foamy head. Bit sticky, some toffee/caramel sweetness. Hopes are there, but not in an ’out there’ sense, which is slightly disappointing for an IPA of such purported magnitude (going by the name at least). Extra alcohol is well-hidden though, making it quite drinkable and well-balanced in the end. Good enough.

Draft pint somewhere in Ontario, and a couple of chilled bottles at our holiday apartment. Hazy russet brown with an off white skim, Marmalade on digestive aroma. Chivers Olde English flavour, spruce, and sports shoe flavour. Big bitter finish, with an alcohol kick as I noticed when I woke up on the setee confused by Canadian teleprogramming. (Long day at Niagra falls). azzurro (568) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2017
Had this one at Moxie’s tonight. Very good drink to accompany a good meal and great company, and celebrating a good news from the hospital. kerenmk (5397) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUL 14, 2017
Can sample at a tasting at Max’ place. Thanks troubles. Clear gold with a white head. A little skunky, soft piney hops in the nose. Sweetish, slightly skunky, old hops in the mouth. Smooth, bitter, again old hops in the finish. Very soft carbonation. shawnmurphy (736) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - JUL 9, 2017
Tasted this separately from a 16-ounce can purchased at an LCBO in Toronto as well as on tap at the waterfront brewpub in Toronto. Pours clear copper with off-white head and lacing. Aroma: faint brown bread and brown sugar. Flavor: malt-forward plus caramelized orange peel, nutty, grainy. Mouthfeel: full-bodied. lush. BrewWhatIWant (324) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 21, 2017
Pours deep amber with an off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit and pine. Taste is quite bitter with a good amount of sweetness underneath that. There are notes of grapefruit and resin up front, and a touch of malt and bubblegum. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A lot of people are saying that this beer is too bitter, I don’t think thats true. It has a lot of sweetness to balance out the bitterness, and if you are drinking a double IPA that claims 80 IBUs on the can, you should probably expect it to be fairly bitter. That being said, its not for amateurs.
