Pours deep amber with an off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit and pine. Taste is quite bitter with a good amount of sweetness underneath that. There are notes of grapefruit and resin up front, and a touch of malt and bubblegum. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A lot of people are saying that this beer is too bitter, I don’t think thats true. It has a lot of sweetness to balance out the bitterness, and if you are drinking a double IPA that claims 80 IBUs on the can, you should probably expect it to be fairly bitter. That being said, its not for amateurs.

Draught at The Jason George: almost opaque golden amber color. Small off white head some lacing. Good nose. Some pineapple, citrus and other tropical hops. Taste is very good. Just a bit bitter. Pineapple, citrus and other tropical hops. Very nice!

This IPA is way too much bitter. Therefore, I can’t feel any aroma or taste expect the bitterness.

Can sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks troubles. Deep golden. Hops aroma, grassy, "green", hop pellets, a bit fruity. Flavor has sweetish malt and bitter hops. Medium-bodied.

500ml can. It pours a dark orange going to amber color with a white head. Maybe too dark for a IPA? Nose is hoppy, grapefruit, resin. Taste is caramel malt, citrus, grapefruit bitterness, well done IPA for sure.

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark orange-red pour with eggshell white head, aroma brought notes of citrus peel, orange, some slight pine into caramel, toffee, spice notes. Taste was a mix of sweet orange, grapefruit into caramel, toffee, finishing bitter.

Pours brown-gold, hazy, nice lacing - has a look of quality but is a bit muddy and dark. Aroma has that bright citrus pine combo you seek in an IPA - bread, orange, a bit of a ginger note. Balance tilts towards hoppy - there’s a grainy malt as well, but flavour is mostly pine, leaf, citrus peel. Bitter finish is fairly medicinal. Rather hefty mouthfeel. Despite a harsh finish, I’d still say this is better than average.
