Hoppy pine aroma. Pours copper with a light foam head. Light bitter, citrus and pine taste that goes down great. A 9% beer that doesnt come off too strong

Pours a clear copper, with a nice foamy head. Aroma is of grassy hops, pine, citrus, and some biscuit. Tasting notes include pine resin, tropical fruits, sweet malts, and a malty/bitter finish. Decent IIPA.

Bought a 6 pack of Fracture with high hopes. Disappointing. All alcohol with little substance. Compared to other imperial IPAs, this one just does not deliver.

0.355 bottle. Clear, dark gold color and a small, off-white head leaving no lacing. Aroma of pines, exotic fruits, grass, and some sharp tones of resin. Taste is hoppy, relatively sweet, fruity, minty, but also delicately malty somewhere in the background. Medium to full body, a slick texture, and an average carbonation. Finish is long but its bitterness does not linger and prevent full enjoyment of the beer. Overall quite a decent brew, certainly another point scored by the Amsterdam Brewery.

Copper and gold body with a thick fluffy white head. A dank, grassy hop nose. Hops lead the taste profile with elements of grass, resin, and to a lesser extent, ripe tropical fruit. Understated sweet malts with a hint of spice underpin the hops. The malt blossoms slightly after 4 or 5 seconds creating a solid end balance. Strong hops with a nice clean, balanced finish. Excellent beer.

Nice. Smooth given the alc/vol. Enjoyable. Good hoppy finish and nice length.

Pours a clear deep amber with a small off white top. Aroma is rich toffee malts with a sharp pine bitterness. Taste is a bold pine bitterness with toffee and cereal malts.

Sampler after the marathon. Pours a mostly clear deep copper with a two finger off white head that laces well. Nose is candied fruit with grass and pine. Nice sweet malt base with apricot and grapefruit for a good level of bitterness.

355 ml bottle from a friend.

Appearance: Pours a deep dark copper colour with a finger of head and minimal lacing.

Aroma: Caramel malt, bit of pine.

Flavours: Caramel malt, some hops, oranges, mango.

Mouthfeel: Average viscosity and carbonation.

Overall: This one is a different and very good IPA. It leans towards the malt side of things but still has some hops coming through. Although it is 105 IBUs, it didnt seem that bitter to me.
