Dark pour. Very piney aroma with some dark fruit as well. A big blast of pine on the tongue, along with citrus, rum-soaked caramel malts (but its not boozy) and black cherries. Sticky and bitter. I liked it a lot.

6-pack that followed my home from the LCBO after work. Been looking forward to trying this one for some time now. Pours maple syrup in the class with a creamy cap on top. Big pine presence, with some citrus notes, in the hops, all nested on a thick bed of sappy malts. Finish is bitter & sticky. I dont agree with those who say it is a tanked up Boneshaker, as this one is clearly more angular. Booze is pretty stealthy & if I play my cards right a few of these will challenge my stride tonight.

It pours copper with golden highlights; the head is off white and mousse-like. The aroma has notes of: toffee, grapefruit, and pine. The taste is medium bitter with a heavy bitter finish; there are notes of: toffee, grapefruit, pine, rum, almond skins, a slight melon rind. The palate is medium heavy bodied with medium carbonation, and a long bitter finish. Overall, like a tanked out bone shaker.

Bottle. Medium orange, off white head. Piney and quite sweet, caramel and melon, with intense bitterness. A bit heavy handed for my tastes, but solid.

Tap, Amsterdam brew house, Toronto, Canada. Pale amber, citrus resin aroma. Sweet, caramel, then a pine resin flavour. Not overpowering especially for the ABV, then a long caramel pine finish.

355ml bottle. Clear amber with a frothy white head. Flavors are bread, sweet cereals, caramel, peach, apricot, pumpkin (?), orange, alcohol, grass and pine resin with vegetal and spicy notes. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, oily texture.

Bottle. Clear amber pour with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet, light citrus. Flavour is malty, fairly bitter but sweet malt as well, some citrus zest and caramel, slightly nutty. Good, but not great for the style.

ENG: 355ml bottle from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the Teku glass. Orange-copper, opalescent color with medium but dissipating, tan head. Aromas of grapefruit and other citrus, a bit tropical. Tastes piney, grapefruity, a bit tarty finish. Resiny-tarty, long-lasting bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation, medium body. Overall a quite decent beer, maybe a bit too resiny in the finish, but that might be a signature of this beer. Nice aromas.

PL: Butelka 355ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelana do Teku. Barwa miedziano-pomarańczowa, opalizująca, piana jasna, średnia lecz opadająca. Aromaty grejfruta i innych cytrusw, nieco tropikalne.
