Bottle Brewery Shop. Poured pale red with pinkish medium head. As anticipated, fruity aroma, not unpleasant. Flavour tart and crisp. Refreshing. Slacks (615) - Bolton, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 5, 2009
Draught @ Bar Volo, Toronto, ON: Pours red amber, no head at all. Boozy aroma with caramel and raspberries. The taste is exceedingly sweet, lots of raspberries, a few hops near the end. I’m not much a fruit beer fan to begin with but drinking a pint of this was like death to me. I can tell it’s decent for the style. cfrancis (3445) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 2, 2009
Aroma of strawberries and alcohol. Taste is tarte, alcohol crispness with a fruity tartness. Finish is almost plasticy. Insane amount of head. Took awhile for me to pour it. Elkas (213) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 13, 2009
341ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a light red with a pink head. Appealing fruity aroma. The tartness is a nice surprise, as I was expecting the cloying sweetness that usually accompanies fruit beers. Well done. garthicus (2929) - Dublin, IRELAND - APR 24, 2009
12oz bottle - Appearance: Dark red with a small white head. Aroma: Concentrated raspberry, sweetness, quite ’jammy’. Flavour: Wow - lots of raspberry, quite like a defrosted/unfrozen ice pop (Mr. Freeze) wheat, carbonation, dry and a long sweet finish. Not bad at all. My favourite Amsterdam product.

Draught @ Only. Deep garnet, close to being opaque, little tan head, some lacing. Fresh raspberry and soda-like aromas but not too sweet. Thin, light mouthfeel. Finishes slightly tart and dry. Refreshin bevvie. Not complex but also thankfully, not too sweet. cyrenaica (1126) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 26, 2008

I tried this beer on August 1, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a deep semi-translucent red with a thick pink head. The aroma was raspberry with a malt hint. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and highly carbonated. The flavour was sour raspberry, and a little grainy malt.
Too thin and tart for me. Certainly the essence of framboise is here, but it doesn’t save this bummer of a fruit beer (a style I normally enjoy). No cloudiness. radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 23, 2008
Rich cherry in colour, thin off-white coloured head, light lacing. The aroma is very sweet, lots of raspberries, quite jam like. The flavour is again very sweet, incredible amounts of raspberries, syrup, jam, some tartness. Sweet mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a long a strong raspberry sweetness. This is very sweet throughout, becoming too much at times.

341ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario for $11.96 for the 4-pack.
Purchased on June 16, 2007 and opened on November 8, 2007.
Bottle received from Matt7215 in trade. I’m not sure if it is due to the shipping, but this beer was almost over-carbonated and had a very large head, which settled soon after pouring. Dark red/orange/brown with a pink head, I was expecting something more red in color. Aroma is not quite accurate for the taste. This beer is bitter and almost sour, yet the smell is sweet, honey and raspberry tones. The beer is quite tart and unfortunately I was expecting something sweeter. For the style, it is good, but not something I would suggest to drink on its own. Sweet food (like chocolate) would bring out the sweetness in this beer.
