Deep red ale with soft raspberry aroma. Unlike many fruit ales the flavours are well melted together.

An impressive fruit beer, packed with raspberry taste, a high degree of acidity, and more body than most. Ferris (15268) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 21, 2014
Bottle - Malts and some oxidized berry notes. Dirty reddish amber with a small white head. Malty raspberry, light tartness and some light sweetness. The malty tones make this chocolate bar like. Lubiere (13905) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 12, 2003
draft. Cotton candy nose, almost like a raspberry sucker...fresh sour raspberry in the mouth, with some sourness, divided opinions (between me and Dum) Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUL 20, 2001
intense ruby colour, few head, fine raspberry aroma, pretty sour - quite strange but not bad at all

341ml bottle acquired in trade with radiomgb (thanks!). Poured a darker reddish color with a brown tinge to it and a smaller sized pinkish head. Aromas of sweet and tart raspberries. I like the way the aroma is. Tastes of sweet raspberries and other berries. Light tart finish. Syrupy body. Not that bad for a fruit beer. Sammy (12197) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 23, 2006
Lambicy on the sourish side, which people who like it like it for this reason Dark pink, and some lighter pink foam, and lace. Definite aroma and some real raspberries in there. Very Drinkable and apparently popular with the fruit beer fans. A bit too foamy but it is a good achievement for its style.

Bottle, shared with Robbie. Lovely vibrant garnet red colour, bubbly pink head that fades to a ring. Fresh crushed raspberries and wheat, juicy and seedy without being too sweet. Very nice. jercraigs (10374) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 14, 2003
UPDATED: AUG 19, 2007 August 2007. Draft at Beerbistro. Ruby body with a small pink-white head (3+). Big tart leafy raspberry aroma. Sweet-tart raspberry flavour is rich but not cloying, though it could still become a bit much after a full pint of it. Alcohol helps cut the sweetness a bit. Average palate. An excellent fruit beer. 7/3+/7-8/3/15-16 - 3.6
<P>July 2003. Nice fruity beer. I like the tartness of this deep red drink. I had rated this higher in the past but I find I am less thrilled with it than i was. 8/4/6/2/15 - 3.5 MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 30, 2003
Sweet, fizzy raspberries ascend onto citrusy clouts...Raspberry Coke feel descends in a watery rout...Nothing at all transcends and that's why I'm going out...
