May 10, 2013 - on gravity cask at Corks. Wow, all the times I have had this, I haven’t put a rating in yet? shame on me. Hazy orange-amber with a solid creamy/frothy beige head. Smells of resin and grain/wheat gluten - very lush, some alcohol. Taste follows, a bit sweet, quite malty, peach and floral notes. Average body, mild carbonation (but okay for gravity cask), medium-length finish, emerging grapefruit pith coating the palate, a bit astringent too - better on tap, IMO. (cask score 7-3-7-3-15=3.6)

Tapped at the Amsterdam Brewhouse. Overall a great bitter hops North American pale ale! Gloden copper brown color. Aroma malt backbone, mild bitter aromatic hops in the front. Taste is malt, hops, biscuits, some bitter fruits. Not a compelx beer but it’s refreshing, bitter and damn tasty!

On tap at the Amsterdam Brewhouse, on the Toronto waterfront. Amber with a tight cream head; tropical fruit aroma; gentle tropical fruit taste wuth some resin and chewy malts; and a long dry finish. Well balanced.

Can from brewery store. Pours clear amber with white head that leaves lacing. Smells like pine resin, dank hops, some citrus. Taste is all hops with a nice bitter finish. I found it hard to pick out the malt. Reminds me a bit of Boneshaker, but much less malty. Really good stuff.

Decent local ale. Pours brown with a fingernail cap. Taste is bell like, round & full.

On tap at the Brewpub. Gorgeous aroma of grapefruit, lemons, and just any citrus you can think of. Not much malt to speak of, just enough to balance the hops, and make them not too over powering. The hops are huge, and incredibly drinkable. This beer has an incredible drinkability, but also a huge dose of great cirtus hops. loved it.

Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 23, 2013
A golden amber ale with a thin creamy mocha head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of pungent floral and resinous hops, with meaty and catty notes and faint sulfur. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with oily mouth feel, resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, classic. On tap at Arrow and Loon.

Hoppy but astringent. On tap at new Amsterdam brewpub. I can see that this is the base beer to coffee, etc. Slightly orange body with head.
