smell is metallic and corny, it is straw yellow with a nice head. taste is bitter vegetables, cereal but fairly balanced. its an ok mouthfeel, drinkable and somewhat cheap but i kind of expected better from this company, i remember enjoying their brown ale. mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 14, 2009
[1780-20081015] Tap. Yeasty aroma. Clear, medium orange yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Grainy sweet corn bread yeast with more yeast as it warms. Medium body. Works well with the arctic char filet, which was delicious, but otherwise this is just average.

from bottle. Sweet honey aroma. Little spicy. Golden colour with a thin white lace. Chemical flavour. Not very enjoyable at all. Blah. Strangebrewer (1370) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 6, 2008
UPDATED: JAN 18, 2014 can. Poured clear golden with foamy white head. Sweet bready aroma. Light body, prickly carbonation, slightly tart finish. Grainy malt flavour, citrus note. AaronBouchard (150) - Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, CANADA - OCT 2, 2008
500ml bottle. I was suprised to find this beer was Canadian. I love Euro beer but there is one thing I love more and that is my Canadian beers. Dark gold hue on the pour as advertised with a perfect sized lasting head. With bready earth aroma. I don’t know if it just me or it tastes sort of like Olands Export with a slight pastry aftertaste. A beer that is very kind to the taste buds. GIve me more!!

Pours a clear yellow to light amber colour with nearly no head. Smell is vaguely hoppy, and very sweet. Flavour is about the same. Fairly sweet, faint hops. Carbonation is reasonably high, but suits the style pretty well. A bit watery, but again, to style, it’s alright. Not bad for a pale lager, but not amazing as a beer. gilvanblight (825) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2008
Had in the guise of Madison Blonde at the Madison Inn. Typical straw yellow pour, half inch of nice thick head. Weak scent. Easy to drink with some nice flavours. Some flower, a touch of sweet. Actually a rather nice summer beer. This one suprised me. Boutip (6620) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 7, 2008
Bottle: Poured a clear golden color lager with a big pure white foamy head with medium retention and no lacing. Aroma if quite refreshing with a light sweet malt profile. Taste is also quite one-dimensional with some medium sweet malt and very subtle floral notes. This beer was as easily drinkable as it is easily forgettable. Thanks to rsamayoa. Bottle. Drank it at El Flor. Pours a very pale yellow with a small white head. Light bodied, a bit metallic and skunky. rsamayoa (24) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - MAY 18, 2008
RateBeerians Tasting - Beach Brews. Bottle: Great looking bottle, slight citrus taste, light bodied a good choice for the beach.
