500 mL bottle. Orange-gold with no head. The aroma is very malty, with a sharpish citric tang to it. The flavour is very pedestrian, for a micro. It is mild and malty (corn) sweet, with no discernable bitterness. Light body, heavy carbonation. Drinkable. I suppose it probably serves a purpose. Just not right now. This lager poured a golden yellow colour with a bright white head. To the nose there are scents of corn, gravy, sweet malts and lemon soap. Humph? First sip was slightly overcarbonated but still drinkable. Typical corn and malt flavour. Sweet finish with nothing but oily sweetness for a palate. Kind of boring... barncatmatt (2287) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2007
UPDATED: MAY 10, 2011 500 ml bottle. pours pale yellow with a small white head. almost no aromas some sweetness comes through as it warms. bland flavours with a paperish finish. skip this one./10/05/2011 500ml can from the lcbo. nice golden pour with a lasting white head. well carbonated and conditioned. simple tasty fresh lager. daniel0017 (451) - Yukon, CANADA - SEP 19, 2007
500mL bottle: Golden yellow corn body is slightly carbonated with little to no head. Aroma of stale corn and slight hops. Crisp light flavor, as lager should be. Malt flavor is ever present but not truly satisfying. There is a definite corn presence and a sweet tartness that doesn’t quite work out well. Smooth finish. This beer doesn’t cry out "Drink Me". It deserves a passing grade, no more. Seeing as it is a blonde Lager, in form, it deserves to be noted that it achieves its namesake and deserves high praise. To my personal liking however... Not my style. wilderthanyou (758) - Guelph, CANADA - SEP 14, 2007
Pours a light yellow with a thin white fizzy head. Aroma of grass malt corn sweetness. Beer is very one dimensional and primarily consists of a malt corn sweetness like the aroma would suggest. Palate is OK, with decent carbonation and a crisp, slightly creamy mouthfeel, refreshing, but it doesn’t save this beer in the long run.

500ml bottle. Pours a nice golden colour with a sizable white head, looks carbonated, with a corny, malty aroma, which is actually pretty decent. The taste is mostly malts, corn, straw, hay, a little bread, with a small hop finish. This is actually FAR better than the low rating would have you believe. It has the nice oily mouth-feel of other beers such as Budvar, which is a huge plus for my own personal tastes. Perhaps it’s just a fresher bottle, I picked it up today because I hadn’t seen it before and I’m pretty sure my LCBO just got it in. It’s a very enjoyable brew, despite a little skunkiness, give it a break geez, there’s enough else to enjoy here. CanadaCam (109) - CANADA - AUG 18, 2007
On draught. Nothing outstanding here, ladies and gentlemen. Regular blonde beer. chainman (104) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 10, 2007
I’ve had this in a bottle and on draft, and I prefer the bottle. Nice light taste, corn evident but not overpowering. A nice beer for the warm weather - reminds me of the wonderful Rolling Rock, but more flavour. A lot of people deride this beer as a "macro"-style lager. True, this is a beer that does not take risks, but it has a clean taste that convinces me these guys care about their customers. Whenever I’m in the mood for something simple to enjoy, I turn to this one! mephisto (1294) - TAIWAN - JUL 10, 2007
draft at bow and arrow in toronto. holy macro, what a crap. an alcoholic swill that has corn aroma and flavor, a royal rip-off. beanmedic (347) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 11, 2007
