Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with an average size diminishing white head. Aroma of grain, fruit, light malt and a faint hint of hops. Smells better then I expected. Very watery flavour of grain, fruit and malt with a mild hop finish. I’m not too fond of the aftertaste. Light bodied. It’s pretty mediocre stuff but at least it has some flavour and isn’t extremely bland like many other Canadian Pale Lagers. Slacks (615) - Bolton, Ontario, CANADA - APR 29, 2006
Draught @ The Brewery. Not good, not bad, just taking up space. Pours light in colour with a rapidly disappearing head, almost no scent to speak of. Flavour is somewhat generic, perhaps a bit more carbonated than I like. Like I said, it’s not bad, there’s just nothing to separate it from other pale lagers. Bottle (341ml). Bright clear light gold, small whie bubbly diminishing head. Aroma of grain, mild corn a little dry. Pretty genric corny/grainy taste, a little sweet yet some generic harsh hop bitterness, slightly unpleasant aftertaste. Mouthfeel - the usual watery pale lager impression ... not awful, would be a passable fishing beer. MarkoR (959) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 17, 2006
On tap at Shanghai Cowgirl, in Toronto. Golden yellow colour. Pretty dull. Some corn flavor. MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 16, 2006
Tap at Woolwich arms in Guelph, Ontario. Yellow body, with a thin white head. Faint fruity and hoppy aromas pair up with mild hops bitterness in the mouth, and a grassy lingering finish. Good amount of carbonation.

On tap at the Queenshead in Toronto. Dull aroma. Golden yellow, tin white head. Not much flavour. Slightly bitter. Much better when purchased at the brewery than anywhere else of course. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 22, 2005
Had a nice aroma, almost citrus smell. appearance was just as the bottle says, blonde lager. Flavor was tangy almost like I.C.Light. Palate is watery like most pale lagers. Overall only gets 6/20 because its extremely overpriced Mullo (102) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - AUG 25, 2005
A very sweet lager. I’d be guessing crystal malt. Low hopping. Slight white wine flavour to the beer. Barely no aroma. Very plain beer. Not much more to say.

I had this one for free from a Grand:pm show I saw at Sneaky Dee’s in downtown Toronto. It was free, and what the heck - I got another rating, but I’m still trying to figure out if it was worth it.
This beer is pale in colour, taste, and mouth feel. It has an overly corny taste which is the boldest thing going on. As it warms loads of warm sweet corn flavours come right through, which is offset by the high carbonation.
I didn’t give it much of a chance, because I drank it from the bottle, but a good beer should be able to come out if it has anything going for it. pootzboy (1739) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 3, 2005
The pour was disappointing...a nice light yellow color but the cap did not last and the lace was weak ( not a good sign when you’re expecting an all malt lager) The nose mwade up for it whith decent aromas of bready malts, sweet tones and a nice lemon twang in the hopping. Although the body is a tad on the weak side the malts stand out and the hops provide a nice lemon gras tone in the finish...then there is a gratifying biscuity after taste.
Not a bad stab at the all malt universal lager style...but like all Amsterdam brews, just a tad watery.
