. Fizzy initial pour. Their regular blond may be better, but the taste is OK for a 4% beer. Thin mouthfeel, some hops and a bit of malt. I would have this before a Molson or Labatt, but it is pretty plain. Thanks for the sample Pootz/Pootzboy.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2009 2009-08-29. Crisp pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grass and straw, pale malts are light, touch of grainy oddness. ( 6+) Flavour is thin, straw, grainy pale malts, touch of cardboard. Average to light palate. Meh. 6/3/4/3/10 Bottle at Beer Bistro

2003. Wasn’t impressed with it at first, but it finished nicely. A mediocre beer, but an exceptional light beer 4/3/4/2/9 - 2.2

[2476-20090829] Bottle sample. Petrol sweet straw yeast aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a quick bubbly white head. Sweet hay grain malt flavour has an odd sweet burnt aftertaste. Light body is very fizzy. Not refreshing, fair.

Bottle (341ml). Poured bright pale slightly bubbly gold with a minimal white head. Not surprisingly, smells just like the "Natural Blonde" only lighter - corn, dry grain, a little harsh. Taste is probably nicer than the blonde - similar, sweeter, but less harsh - very watery mouthfeel, still has that unpleasant aftertaste - acceptable lawnmower/fishing trip beer only.

jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - JUL 25, 2002
Golden colour, white frothy head. Light. Not much taste but some malt sweetness. Still a little creamy palate.

DougShoemaker (3147) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 1, 2002
Soft sweet smell. Golden, light head. Stale hops taste. Sticky in the mouth. Subpar.

Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 10, 2004
Much like the non-light version, except thinner. Even more pale in colour and bland in taste. A step up from a macro light, but nothing else.

barncatmatt (2286) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 22, 2010
341 ml bottle from the brewery. AP clear golden, overcarbed, quick white head AR almost nothing, some sweet grainy 2 row FL touch of powdery malt, touch of peanut shell, finishes anoyingly dry PA over carbed and super dry, might be the dryest light lager ive ever had OV much better options in light lager catagory

MrManning (2009) - Hamilton, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 2, 2010
Bottle- Thanks Dave! A sparkling golden pour unleashes a foamy but short lived white head. Nose of grains, grassy hops, some biscuit, slightly fruity. Taste is sweet grainy malts, a bit of grass/floral hops, lemon. Quick, fizzy finish leaves no aftertaste whatsoever. Not all that memorable.

daboskabouter (1470) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 17, 2002
Very light yellow color. Nice fresh fruity aroma. Very dry finish, touch of hops.
