500 ml bottle from LCBO, served cool in a tulip glass. Tessic (1206) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 14, 2011
App.: Cloudy orange-golden with a smallish white head.
Aroma: Lots of yeast and wet bread dough, some earthy coriander, light citrus notes, more bread dough, toasted wheat, shredded wheat cereal, a touch perfumed, somewhat flat.
Palate: Medium body, fine, somewhat sparse effervescence.
Flav.: Wheat, light biscuit, some coriander, somewhat less of the yeast and bread dough notes (thankfully), a bit spicy, I think I am picking up a little of the anise, light citrus, very light esters; dry with a toasted wheat and lightly citrusy/yeasty finish.
Seems a bit muddled, especially compared to better Wits.
This witbier poured a light, cloudy orange colour with a big, beautiful, bright white, creamy head. To the nose there are scents of weiners, orange citrus, metal and corriander? First sip was smooth and light with flavours of yeast/weiners, orange citrus, spices and ripe fruit. Finish is yeasty with a light bitter hopp flavour. robinvboyer (4754) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 14, 2011
Hazy orange pour, big white head. Good fruity, citrus aroma, the wheat is definitely there, a touch buttery actually.
Mothfeel is heavy, and im finding ths a little bit of a chore to finish. All the right flavors are there, but it all seems heavy. cfrancis (3574) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 4, 2011
Pours a hazy straw yellow with a small white head. Aroma is faint wheat and orange. Taste is very carbonated and astringent, lots of citrus and faint orange. Too dry and puckery for me. rejtable (2838) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 4, 2011
Nice little summer beer. Easy feel in the mouth with lots of carbonation. Front by orange maybe grapefruit citrus, and something a little lighter on the back end. Solid stuff.

500 mL bottle. Hazy brown-yellow, with a small head and nice lacing. Not a very attractive shade. Wheat and a little citrus and spice in the aroma. I don’t get the anise. The flavour is quite mild. It’s nicely spiced, and not over-carbonated, but there is also an annoying metallic tang that I don’t like. Not a bad beer, though. Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 31, 2011
A hazed yellow wit with a thick white head. In aroma, a lightly lactic banana with cloves, and faint sulfur notes. In mouth, a sweet banana malt with light citrusy notes, cloves, a bit light but nice. On tap at C’est What, May 21 2011. JoeMcPhee (9549) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 27, 2011
Pale yellow-orange pour with a thick white head. The aroma is lightly wheaty with a bit of soft spicy character. A little bit of lemony citrus over a touch of soft yeastiness. A little bit watery tasting, but it’s pretty decent. Ontbeertaster (3208) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 21, 2011
Bottle, pours a nice yellow with some hazy from the yeast, fruity notes in the aroma, taste is yeasty and kind of sweet, not much orange in the taste, would have liked to see more, but overall this stuff was pretty good. barncatmatt (2355) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 19, 2010
