November 19, 2013 - at the brewpub; on draught. Hazy deep gold with a large fluffy/pillowy off-white head - quite thick-looking. Bone dry aroma of cereal and floral bitterness - so so dry. Taste is like a pils on ’roids - intensely grassy-bitter with earthy notes, and dry dry dry ... if I loved pilsners I would love this sucker. Chewy body, fairly big alcohol presence, dry and lightly astringent - nice and lively with a long dry earthy/floral finish. Main complaint maybe a tad boozy. can. Poured straw coloured with a thin white head. Organic grainy aroma. Lighter bodied, creamy carbonation, sourish sharp finish. Flavour of hayish pale malts, a bit buttery, herbal hop with some bitter citrus peel. fiulijn (21590) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 1, 2016
Tasting at Matt’s; can; as Starke Pils, 5.2% ABVChadPoole (478) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 16, 2016
Taste and aroma are between "nice malt" and "cheap Dutch Lager"; it’s mellow and sturdy, quite heavy despite the low ABV; I would drink a glass just with food. Not too bad.
Pour clear gold with a nice white head that lasts the whole beer. Aroma is malt, hay and grass. Taste is grain, and hay with a dry finish. It has a light/medium body with medium carbination which makes it easy to drink. Very good pilsener. tomer (4038) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - JUL 20, 2016
At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly creamy head, light hazy lemon yellow color, honey cardboard aroma, fruity honey minerally flavor, light bitterness and sourness, a bit coarse, Fair.

Can sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks troubles. Hazy yellow with a white head. Grainy aroma with a bit of bread, and decent grassy hops. Flavor has grainy and bready malt, light cardboard note, and a bitterish grassy hops finish. Could be fresher, but still OK. ametras (1880) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 28, 2016
473ml can. Clear golden with a frothy white head. Flavors are cereals, honey, lemon, alcohol and cooked vegetables with herbal and spicy notes. Medium body, moderate to good carbonation, smooth texture. robinvboyer (4882) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 21, 2016
Wow! This is how you brew with saaz! Such a great spicy, grassy Aroma with a great malt bill. Mouthfeel is a little thick, carb is soft. Finish is spicy, and grassy, the saaz shine so much in this beer. Great stuff. jksipa (1063) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 15, 2016
Can from RCSS. Clear pale gold with a small short lived white head. Nose is strong grain with honey, floral hops and a touch of spice. Light sweet toffee with a slightly more forward bitterness and a light pepper background. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation and a crisp dry finish.

Pours clear gold with a moderate white pillow. Aroma is loads of bready malts and noble hop. Taste is a sharp hop bitterness and a big malty backbone.
