Bottle - 500ml (2014). Pours an opaque black body with an average, fading, beige foamy head. Rich malty aroma with vineous and chocolate hints. Alcohol is not agressive. Its robust malty/hoppy aroma carries roasty, licorice, woody, and plummy notes. Ends with a long, strong, warming, bitter/roasty finish. Very well done. CacheManyHose (767) - HONG KONG - JAN 5, 2015
From LCBO, drank at Ian's place in Toronto. Inky black with thin beige watery head. Smells of cola, potpourri/florals, spice, dried fruit, bit of soy sauce. Tastes of spiced cola, coffee, slightly syrupy malt, quite bitter. Body is bitter, fizzy. HKdIPA (850) - HONG KONG - JAN 5, 2015
Bottle from LCBO at Ian's in Toronto. Dark black pour, very little head. Aroma is dark chocolate, licorice, roasted malt. Taste is big but standard imperial stout - mostly roasted malt, some coffee bitterness, some dark fruit. Good coffee flavor. Lasting finish - a bit boozy. Good. Opaque black with beautiful thick yellow-brown foam. Very deep and strong coffee, cocoa + herbal aroma. Taste is also very deep, hints of dark chocolate, carmel, licorice and champagne. The taste is even developing more when the temperature increases, so do not cool down it too much.
Very good beer! cargo150 (1289) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 16, 2014

2014/12/10 - Pours a jet black colour with a creamy tan head that lingers. Aroma is cocoa, toasted malt, black berries and herbal hops. Taste is bitter cocoa, lactose, dark berries, toasted malt, ash, umami and herbal hop notes. Mouthfeel is slick with biting carbonation and a semi sweet, herbal and mildly boozy finish. Very nice. Really developes with warmth.

Bottle, 2014 release, labelled as 9% ABV. Black pour with a medium foamy mocha head. Aroma is somewhat sweet, some dark chocolate and coffee with just a hint of soy sauce. Flavour starts sweet, chocolate and coffee with some subtle cinnamon and nutmeg, finishes with some nice bitterness and roasty flavours, and a touch of hops as it warms. Very thick, oily and creamy with low carbonation, and a touch boozy. A very nice imperial stout! XaenDovet (1281) - British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 22, 2014
