This stout poured a dep black colour with a smooth creamy head, tan in colour. Scents include chocolate, coffee, roasty, cream and beef gravy. First sip was smooth with a creamy mouthfeel with flavours of coffee, chocolate with a roasty finish. Palate is slightly hoppy with a charred roasty flavour lingering. rejtable (2838) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 13, 2011
On tap at Great Wolf Lodge (?!?!). Poured a dark brown with a long lasting creamy head. Notes of coffee, some light chocolate and maybe a hint of dark fruit. Reasonably light in the mouth. Pretty good beer, but what an odd place to find it among the crying toddlers and over stimulated tweens. Fred82 (2339) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 25, 2011
341ml bottle from the brewery. Generic Amsterdam label.Spab (4081) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 19, 2011
Appearance : Deep amber with medium foamy brown head.
Aroma : Fruity yeast with raisins and light coffee.
Taste : Light coffee with fruits. Light hops on finish with light chocolate, light coffee and some fruits. Body is very thin. Light butterscotch.
Overall : Not bad but a bit thin. Granted it’s a dry stout but I still think it was a bit too thin. A bit too fruity also.
341 ml bottle from brewery. Pours a virtually black dark brown with modest-sized light brown head. Aroma is quite roasty with cocoa and a bit of nuttiness. Flavour is likewise rather roasty with more pronounced cocoa presence and a little nuttiness. Slightly dry in the finish; body is a little lighter than expected (though not light in absolute terms). Overall not super complex but fairly nice. Ontbeertaster (3208) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 17, 2011
Bottle, pours dark black, I found this one a little weak but very drinkable, quite enjoyable, it had a bit of a dryness and it was very roasty, good offering

On tap at Olde Angel Inn in Niaraga on the Lake. Pours a pitch black with an beige head. Aroma is roasted malts and dry cocoa. Taste is a dry, roasted malt and faint chocolate. Some faint smoke in the aftertaste but not off putting. Good beer but very middle of the road. barncatmatt (2355) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 22, 2010
341 ml bottle from the brewery. i was surprised to find this one in bottles but it was a happy surprise. AP clear dark brown with a tan head AR flabby pale malt structure, decent amount of roast, touch of peanut shell FL decently balanced dry roasty stout, not a ton going on but no real flaws PA a little to fizzy, would be nicer on nitro tap OV decent dry stout, nice to see one in ontario jimmay (815) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 26, 2009
On tap at brewery. Pours dark brown, cappucino coloured head. Smooth mouthfeel. Aroma of chocolately roasted malt, ditto on flavour. Pretty decent stout!
