Keg at Brother’s Beer Bistro, Ottawa. Clear pale golden, mid sized creamy head. Light buttery lemon aroma. Mid sweet with some lemony tartness, medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Salted butter and light lemon. Low bitterness. Tasty, more or less proper style gose.

Bottle from the LCBO. Hazy pale yellow under a huge fluffy white head that fades slowly and leaves some patchy lace. Nose is lemon, wheat, grass, and light yeast. Moderately tart citrus with salt and spice. Mouth is slightly thin with prickly carbonation. 8/4/7/3+/15

Pours with modest carbonation giving off a lemon grass aroma with an oaky undertone. The beer has a gold colour with a rich craggy white head and generous lace. The taste has a spicy wheat start with hints of spice and coriander that carry into the middle. Lemon flavour and hardy tartness show up in the long finish as flavours blend and slowly fade. A sour gose indeed!

650ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a fairly large frothy and bubbly white head that sticks around long enough. Has a clear golden appearance. Slightly excessive carbonation. Aromas of yeast, wheats, grassy, citrus and lemon. Flavours are mostly on the citrus and bitter side, some tarty notes. Also some lemony notes, a bit tangy, grassy hops. Good retention. Drying mouthfeel with a hint of sourness. Not too bad.

Canmoore (483) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 24, 2016
Pours a cloudy honey colour, bubbly head. Aroma has notes of lemon, fresh cut grass, orange zest. Tasting notes include lemon, salt, coriander, mouth filling fizzy carbonation, bacterial/sour finish.

Listigovers (1173) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 16, 2016
Tastes fairly bacterial with a a bit of that texture. Definite salt taste, a bit high on the alcohol for a gose, texture is refreshing, overall enjoyable but a bit heavy for the style.

ChadPoole (478) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 10, 2016
Pours hazy straw yellow with a white head. Aroma is light lemon and wheat. Has sour lemon taste with a bit of honey that mellows it out. Not my favorite style of beer, but it’s not bad for a sour.

Raistlin (410) - London, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 8, 2016
Pours cloudy straw yellow with decent white head. Thats as much positive as it can be said about this beer. Its very sour, which overwhelms everything else. Decent texture with average carbonation. Very unique in bad way, lol. All i can say is i want my eight dollars back.

thorongil2 (3076) - , Ontario, CANADA - OCT 6, 2016
(bottle) clear, bright yellow orange colour with a medium tall white head; aroma of noble hops; clear, bright sour flavour with a medium long, light sour finish
